I always order Rasta pasta from peppers and it is delicious … I ordered some recently and it was horrible it was obvious the chef changed or there is a new recipe … but I won’t be ordering for a long time I’m scarred :(

I literally just left there. Ordered brown stew chicken and rice and peas and that chicken is absolutely not good. It has soggy hairy skin on it and I am disgusted

Ok folks this is Nostrand avenue and this little stretch of Little Haiti has not changed much. So as far as atmosphere in area it is pretty busy and not kept up like nicer areas in Brooklyn.
As far as the food, the Peppas brand is know for great Jamaican food and this location does not disappoint.
The service is great and very inclusive to all people. They are very knowledgeable and helpful.
I have been here several times since the new year and will continue to support!

Straight hole in the wall Jamaican take out spot. The place was run down and in dire need of a complete makeover. Looked a bit on the dirty side, but that's just from the waiting /ordering area. Maybe the kitchen is very clean. The lady who took orders was pleasant. The prices here are real decent. $10-14 bucks for a plate of food. Decent portions. The food was solid.

I got the large oxtails and the fact your prices are high i only got 6 small pieces of oxtails with a plate full of rice. I ordered oxtails with rice and peas not rice and peas with oxtails. Highly disappointed

This is not the original peppas chicken. Chicken was dry and undercooked. The rice was stale.

Curry goat had no flavor. The kids had pasta and didn’t like it because it lacked flavor. Im not sure if the cooks are the same now as a few years ago when I lived in Brooklyn but the food isn’t as good as it used to be.
Pasta had minimal flavor... Pasta sauce tasted like it was made with powdered mix from a Mac and cheese box

Asked for jerk chicken with rice and peas he said 5 to 10 min wait would you like to wait? I said no problem how much and I paid him parked the car because I was double parked smoked a spliff gave them 20 min came back he said 5 more min lol which turned Into another 12 min lol people started complaining finally rice comes out there serving as slow as possible guy who charges me goes to back then other staff asked me what I ordered then I tell them which takes another 5 min lady gives me the food then says 14 dollars I said I paid already she gives me dirty looks the other charged me 13 to I dunno what they got going on in here get it together!! Lol ? then the jerk chicken was mid lol ? plenty other places in the area with better food
