Peppas Jerk Chicken - Park Slope

First time here the food was great!!! The service did not match. Please greet your customers. I was looking for friendly service I was met with mid customer service no communication whatsoever.

Ordered delivery and half the food was missing. The Jerked chicken seems like it was 2 days old. It was extremely dry.
It tasted like burnt chicken. Will not order from them again.

I’ve ordered food here twice in the past few weeks and whoever has been in the kitchen has been doing their thing!! My jerk chicken was cooked perfectly each time and the rice was so good! I also order soup here whenever I feel a cold coming on and it always gets me right!!

I ordered from this location through the Uber Eats app during their buy one, get one free promotion for jerk chicken patties. The restaurant accepted my order, but then someone called to say they only had two out of the four patties available and asked if I wanted spinach patties instead. I said no and requested a refund.
They still sent my order without refunding me, and to make it worse, they charged full price for all the patties instead of honoring the promotion. I called the next day, spoke with a lady who said she would look into it and get back to me but no one ever did.
On top of that, the food I received was dry, stiff, and stale both the patties and the festival.

Save your money and skip this place. Bad customer service, false advertising, and terrible food quality.

Really is not your typical west Indian Jamaican spot... they choose price over portions i did get two meals yesterday the lady charge me the same price for both large and medium is 18... Come on oxtail wasn't even hitting peppa pasta lacking flavor and why is it almost the same price as a protein 10 dollars crazy what they doing my curry goat plate had more bones than meat and more rice that everything all together will not see me again ever in their

Update: The large chicken plate is $22 now after taxes and tip when you pick up. Too pricey for my wallet.

Glad to have Peppas here but the service at this location can be glacially slow even when there’s only a couple of people waiting.

I’ve gone here before not just this location and absolutely loved them but tonight I ordered at home and I’m so disappointed in what I received. I ordered a jerk chicken and curry dinner. The jerk was dry and the curry was UNCOOKED. Thankfully I check my food when eating out because my son almost at this curry, unacceptable. This is playing with people’s health. It was because I took a bit of the curry and it felt off.

This place was cozy, colorful and clean. Smells amazing in here, you almost don’t want to leave. Service was fast, knowledgeable and friendly. The Jerk chicken with rice and peas and plantains was so good that my friend couldn’t even wait until he was no longer driving to eat his plate of food. The daily lunch special is where it’s at. These portions are wonderful since they jam any of the sizes they have for you to choose from.
