Order a “pint” of vanilla bean ice cream from them yesterday through uber eats. A tiny cup of regular vanilla ice cream shows up. And when you go to dispute it thats when it shows up at 4 oz. Smh the guava mascarpone and key lime pie and not great. Also key lime does not have a graham cracker crust.

So so so so good! Never am a pie person but this the pies here completely blow my mind. Really miss the rhubarb strawberry pie and hope to see it back soon!

Huge fan of nearly every piece of pie I've had here. You really can't go wrong. The cherry crumb is my favorite, but I've even tried the seasonal flavors I was unfamiliar with and really liked them too. Staff have gotten much better than the team that worked here before the remodel. Everyone seems friendly and they did an excellent job for the thanksgiving pickup this year. If I could make one request... PLEASE BRING BACK THE BREAKFAST SANDWICH!! That biscuit, sausage, pepper jelly combo is the stuff dreams are made of. I guess my health thanks you, but nothing can fill the hole that was left in my heart when you decided to scrap breakfast altogether post-remodel.

I never received the 2 apple pie slices I ordered. This place is a rip off! Terrible
I bought pies last year for thanksgiving and thought they were good. I decided to buy the same ones and add Sour Cherry to the family thanksgiving. I'm not what it was but the Sour Cherry tasted spoiled and the Sweet potato pie grew fuzzy mold the next morning. The Apple pie was just fine, nothing that great and the chocolate chess was decent.Upsetting for sure since each pie is $40, so I spent $160 on pie, I had to throw out 1/3 of the sweet potato since it grew mold. No one wanted the Sour cherry so that was wasted (even my family member that loves cherry pie said it tasted spoiled). The other two pies were just okay. Won't be buying again next year due to prices and the spoiled taste.Staff that day when I picked up the pies were great though! So shout out to them.

The staff is very friendly. The cafe is clean, pretty, and would be enjoyable if you're going to go for coffee/tea. All of that is good and well, but I found the pies to be quite mid. The Hudson valley apple slice has a strange aftertaste in the crust, and the key lime merengue was too sweet. People have difference pie preferences; this might still be the place for you! I'll update after giving some other flavors a chance.

I placed an order during thanksgiving week for pickup today at Essex Market. It was my first time ordering pies so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I showed my email confirmation of four pies total: two 12’ apple crumb, one 12’ blueberry crumb, and a 6’ chocolate chess pie. Four pies total, nothing too complicated. Two people looked at my order and one person went to bag it up and stapled my bag shut, so I automatically assumed that everything was all and well. Upon coming home, I notice I’m short a pie. I emailed and called them, no response yet. I’m hoping to get compensated back for this pie, because these pies are not cheap. I was hoping that having paid $138 for four pies, that my order would be correct, but it wasn’t. Mind you, I was in no rush.

i just left Pete's pies. Customer service was not good. My man had a do-rag on and was on the phone with a friend gossiping. Really, come on. I waiting until he's chatting. He continued to chat while taking my order. He also had an attitude. if this happens again I'm never coming
