Perfect Live Music Spot. The bar in front is perfect for chatting with very reasonable drink prices. Then the small live music hall is sooooo perfect for listening and they have great acts. I saw Brother Andrew play. I didn’t check out the backyard but only bc I was loving the music inside. 10/10 vibes

Beautiful interior and performance space. Must go just to view the historic motifs. Bartender was very kind and let me charge my phone as well.

Bought two drinks for me and friend, paid with tip. Found out the next day I was charged for an extra glass of wine that was not bought. $20 bill turned into $35. Won't be back.
Saturday night 5/17 had a male Caucasian bartender who purposely ignored me multiple times and at different spots of the table. I had no prior interaction with him other than me attempting to politely get his attention and then him taking others who clearly came after me. Avoiding eye contact at all times with me. Is it a race thing? I surely don’t want to make it that way but it’s the only thing that stands out as difference between those he served and myself. It’s okay. 😇 management do your thing.. if you can in time hahaha can’t wait. See yall soon

Pete’s was a perfect place to host my birthday party! The backyard’s really cool and the drinks were really great. Everyone who worked there helped my day feel special.

Horrible lack of service form Catherine - didn’t get their pronouns but damn. They sure didn’t seem to want to be there and made it customers problem. I get it, work sucks, but like you don’t gotta make that our problem! We were here to pay you and enjoy for time off work but they made it very clear we weren’t welcome.
Bummer cuz Pete’s has always been a fave but i guess it’s been a minutes cuz things sure have changed with a bartender like that!

Pete’s Candy Store is one of those classic Brooklyn gems that feels like a secret, even if it’s not. The vibe is cozy and quirky, with a charming back room that hosts everything from live music to trivia nights. The drinks are solid and reasonably priced, and the bartenders are always friendly without the usual pretentious bar energy. It’s the kind of place where you can actually hear your friends talk, hang out for hours, and feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. Love this spot.
