This spot isn't in guidebooks yet. Employees are remarkably kind and accommodating, serving food rapidly. They serve excellent food at fair rates. The food quality showed in our completely empty plates. This spot provides a good environment.

We enjoyed a lovely meal on the avenue. Dinner service got really busy, and the tables on the closed street had already filled up. They were kind enough to bring more tables outside so that we could enjoy the lovely weather under the light of a nearly full moon. In spite of the fact that the order system went down, and a seemingly small staff, the food was really delicious and the prices were reasonable, considering the neighborhood average. We opened our appetites with a pot of jasmine tea served with dainty tea glasses. We then began our meal with the crispy duck rolls, which had an interestingly creamy and slightly starchy interior and were seved with a tangy sauce. Then, a steaming bowl of chicken congee which came topped with a thin slice of cruller and some cilantro and scallion and a bit of fried shallot. I added a half tea egg, some white pepper, and soy sauce which elevated it. We had the the lamb dill dumplings, which were piping hot and delightfully flavorful. We selected the Chinese broccoli for our daily green, and they were flash fried, perfectly crisp, lightly salty, with a hint of garlic. Our final dish, the taro cake (which they were kind enough to comp due to the slower service), had the most lovely texture, and was served on a spectacular spicy sauce tinged with five spice. Sadly, that was the dish I forgot to photograph, but it was so good that we will be back to eat it again, and to try many of their other offerings.

i was here last Wednesday, loved this place. The recommendation from our server Aru was great. She made sure that food is not too spicy, cause i am not spicy tolerant, so gave me good advise. So my favourite: Hargow, greens, dumplings and small plates. Loved the service. Definitely will come back.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner our first evening in Brooklyn. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, not to mention the incredibly friendly and helpful service. For me, it was the most authentic tasting and well done dim sum I've had since being in China. The dumpling wrappers were thin and tender and and bao buns as light and fluffy as one could hope for - clearly the kitchen knows what they're doing. We ordered the vegetarian spring rolls, mixed vegetable dumplings, sesame tofu, chinese broccoli, mushroom bao and were treated to green tea mochi for dessert. Everything came out as soon as it was ready and tasted great. As others have mentioned, the food was also well priced and the atmosphere very charming and clean. All that said, the service was perhaps the highlight for us yesterday. Thank you so much James, you made our evening!

My sister and I wound up at Petite Dumpling for an early dinner on a whim before a show at the Bell House. I can’t tell you how wonderful and thoughtful this small restaurant is. Prices are incredibly fair, service is amazing, and every dish we tried was delicious and comforting. We loved the shrimp dim sum dumplings, mala cucumbers, and fish congee. The attention to detail here does not go unnoticed - even down to the very pretty and functional tea service and minimal but cute decor.

The food is delicious. I can’t talk highly enough about the pork bao buns, soup dumplings, cucumber salad — the list goes on and on. This is a go-to spot for us. We bring friends and family when they’re in town, too!

Fair prices, delicious food, attentive staff. Tried an array of dumplings and bao buns. The taste was good, nothing out of this world per se but quite tasty. The cold sake was refreshing and portions were favorable. Great to have as an option when craving good dumplings and dim sum.

MSG………
Overall solid. The gua bao were kind of flavorless with flat textures and tasted almost plastic? Was off put by them. The greens were sauteed well with good simple seasoning. The small plate tofu was simple and satisfying. The turnip cakes were really amazing though. Better than my favorite dim sum place. Perfect texture and seasoning.
$30 for one, $40 with tax and tip. Bit pricey overall for the portions but I was full and satisfied. The staff are very nice and the environment is very nice. Good small date spot. Seems like they can seat 1-4 people per party.
I think the seasoning and cooking was very simple relative to the presentation and cost. Quick home meal vibes. Comforting and filling but with restaurant portions and prices.
