There's a million and ten reasons I love this place. Friendly service, great happy hour, good and affordable cocktails, pop-ups, etc. they have a great lineup and I love being a regular here. Board games, too! My partner and I love to grab some bananagrams and fight over a drink.

But the reason I keep coming back? Homemade pretzels. Their food menus is great, don't get me wrong, but the pretzels are gods gift to the unsober. Mustard AND cheese?! I get to choose! And a few pickles slices, if that's your style!! Seriously a must.

want to love phil’s & pay myself a visit. but this isn’t how brooklyn does it! we’re respectful of our neighbors. when we host, we have good crowd control. unfortunately, phil’s missed the memo when i tried calling them several times last night. this part of town isn’t the party hardy side, it’s the family rearing side…you know better. let’s take some accountability please!

Had a passionfruit margarita for the first time and it was excellent. If I'm ever here again, it'll be my go-to drink. They also serve a pretzel that melts in your mouth. Excellent pairing with your choice of beverage.

The only con is that it closes early on a Thursday night.

I definitely have to come back. I went and had the fig jam and gruyere grilled cheese with the tomato soup on the side. So delicious. I will be back for more of those and its just really chill vibes.

Racist bar! I’ve been in the area for some years and shared a few good experiences at this bar. The other day while hanging with friends, it was brought up that this space is not a fan of people of color and tonight I had my own experience. The bar girl was super disrespectful! She never greeted my friend or I but decided to tell us that “we needed to move over because her friend had a seat at the bar”… she never greeted us and it was a disgusting feeling.. if I had the time, I would have told her a word or two! I will never ever go back and btw, Filthy Diamond, which is a bar down the street is so much better!!!!

This place slaps any day, every day. Food? solid. Drinks? solid. Vibe? solid. Seating? almost always. Board games, projector screen, back patio, and the best grilled cheese you've had at a bar, period. Phil's has the juice.

This is my favorite local bar. Great indoor and outdoor spaces, lovely staff, good prices and fabulous hotdogs. Especially love that it’s right next to the laundromat so I can hop back and forth.
