Huge portions of lobster and fun location. It does make you alittle dizzy after so just beware of that.

A wonderful surprise right on the water in Brooklyn Heights.
This old sailing ship is now an atmospheric bar where you can get a beautiful view of the southern tip of Manhattan. The drinks are certainly not cheap, but you definitely pay for the great view and the incredibly friendly and good service.
Derek gave us a great time and we are very happy to have taken a break from the big city life of this cosmopolitan city here on this beautiful ship with these great people. We will certainly be happy to come back.

Dining on a boat in the Brooklyn Bridge Park was a wonderful treat from the spectacular views to the small but fresh seafood forward menu. There is truly no bad seat in this place, though I will try to snag a reservation at the table at the bow of the boat for my next visit ?
Bear in mind that you are eating on a docked boat, so expect some rocking. Probably not the best choice for those who are prone to motion sickness.

Simply great! A restaurant on a boat. What more do you want? Oysters lovely, gentle rocking of the waves lovely. Boat itself lovely, a sail craft. My martini was dirty and my fries were hot. Bella bella bella!
Pro Tip for drivers: Parking is a little demanding (a given for that part of town, those coastal parks, but let me remind you here now so that you head out early if you're in a car). The nearby garage enters "triple event mode pricing" if the _sun_ is shining, so you'll want to park rather just south towards Cobble Hill / Carroll and stroll in from over there. Or that was my successful tactic, having just come from Red Hook (Ikea, I was at Ikea on a Sunday, and Pilot was a great detendre)

I wanted to love Pilot but don’t think I will visit again. The service was ok and maybe even less than ok. My party and I got seated and ordered drinks and some still water/sparkling water. 3/4 drinks came because of an order mess up on their end, at this point no still or sparkling water came. We were ready to order and feel like we had to hunt down our server. We finally ordered food and reminded 2-3 different serves that we still had not received any water (at this point we gave up on trying to order sparkling). We finally got the water. I will say our food order was pretty quick and the food was a 4/5! I did enjoy it and enjoyed the view but the service just put a damper on the whole experience. At some point, my husband also ordered a second cocktail and that never came.
Regardless don’t think i will be back even if the food and view were nice.

I called a server for a black bespectacled girl (it was Brown) to order and asked to wait a little bit. But I let her wait 20 minutes. After that, she kept ignoring me even when I waved.

Pilot Is the best way to spend a summer afternoon on the water in NYC. Bar and table seating available. Its located on peir 6, and has a beautiful view of the NYC skyline. Huge variety of raw oysters. Shrimp cocktail is great too. The watermelon cocktail was very refreshing. I don't get sea sick, but if you do, this might not be a great experience for you since the boat does rock quite a bit. Service is excellent. You can make reservations on Rezy starting at 4pm, but if you go on a Tuesday evening around 5, there's usually plenty of seating to choose from with no wait. Definitely will be back here again.

Sometimes you just want to have dinner on a boat and this place definitely delivers!
The food and drinks were great and the service was speedy.
If you get seasick this might not be for you, but otherwise it's a great vibe with excellent views of the city.
