Pine Box is what bars used to be! Locally owned, great drinks, even better music, unpretentious and a welcoming third space for people to hang! And they have a great frozen margarita -- perfect for summer.

It was my first time visiting and I found it on eventbrite. What attracted me to pine shop is the comedy show is free (tip how much you want) and drinks are not required but we still bought. When I was looking at comedy shows in mahattan they were the opposite with a mandatory drunk minium which was a turn off. So I love pine shop for being different.After the comedy show which was 9pm to 11pm they had karoke. It was also free up until 3am I believe. So I was able to try two new things. My only complaint was the room for the karoke and comedy show was cold, the bathroom tiolet could be cleaner. Also a dog was in there for a few minutes. I would be returning and I told my friends about it. I even had friends who asked based on my video.

I had a 90's themed birthday party for my 32nd birthday this past Friday and WHAT A TIME. I had been in communication with Jeff from the time I inquired about booking the space to the day of.
Jeff was SUPER awesome and responsive - ensuring I had everything I needed, including a folding table which was life saving for the food/snacks that I had.
Everyone had an amazing time and I also want to shoutout the bartenders Maia and Mikey for working so hard! We appreciate you!
