I try to remain impartial and not be obligated to give 5-star reviews just because a place is a small business. With that being said, this place is a good 5-star. A little weird I will say that but that’s the intended vibe. Great how they support small artists. The food was surprisingly good so feel free to get that.
Great atmosphere, people, performers, staff ,food !! An affordable nice night out.
this business operates in the worst way possible - expect long lines and waits at the register as they hold you hostage to buy a drink before you can get a seat. You have to spend $10 mandatory on top of your concert ticket, which i would understand at something like sony hall or a nice jazz club. But this is basically a coffee shop that serves premade canned cocktails that aren’t even really cocktails bc it’s not real liquor and food that is obviously prepackaged and microwaved.
they need to
1 - just include the drink minimum or whatever you need in the ticket price - a $10 mandatory that you claim “makes the performances free” does not infact make the performances free.
2 - allow guest to sit before they order
3 - get a liquor license so they can serve real drinks
4 - no microwave meals
all in all don’t go here this place sucks
super cute cafe and friendly owner!! these community spaces are so needed in nyc!
I picked up some baked goods today for an afternoon snack and was extremely disappointed with the food quality. The muffin and croissant were genuinely rock hard! Looks like a super cute spot and the staff was very kind but the food I got seemed like it was days old :(
Best flat white, best attention and environment so far!! Cultural stuff, many books and relax place.
Bubble tea-inspired coffee experience... My iced latte came in a plastic cup with the seal above it that I had to stab through with a straw, like you would bubble tea. Cute idea although it would be nice to have a non-plastic option for those dining in the cafe. I came for the spanish speaking group which was lovely, Sundays 12-2pm, and it was a great community connection opportunity to practice spanish and meet some lovely neighbors. Very cute cafe, and I hope to return!
reasonable priced food and drinks. nice event space too. attended a fashion show there.
Super nice space, they have a range of good food and drinks while also fairly priced
For performers, this is actually one of the most accommodating spaces you can get with a good sound system as well as utility sourcing if you're short of any small equipment such as TRS and midi cables, piano is on the stage too!
The stage is very flexible for staging, it has steps leading to the back of the stage which is a cool concept for members to pick a spot as long as they each have an ear piece to keep everyone in sync, the lighting is great too, just some info for y'all if you're thinking about performing in this space.
A fully realized community cafe. Very special. Great espresso and bites available. Beer, wine, and sake as well. Thanks for being here.

Such a beautiful space
Such a funky and unique venue! Great concept and such a cute aesthetic. The owner was so sweet and warm and friendly. Went for one of the concert series and got some food and drinks. Would definitely go back!
Cool little chandelier animals and love the venue! Looks like a quirky euphoric forrest🌲🙈💞
Came for an event, and while this place was cute and the staff was friendly, they’re shorting it on the menu across the board.
The house wine pour was only 4 oz. Edamame came out with no salt. I asked for a dry sake recommendation and the woman behind the bar (I think the owner) insisted I get the most expensive bottle, which was a semi-sweet. My friend’s sake bombs were two inches short of the rim on the glass.
If you have to meet a minimum, stick to something they can’t cut corners or upsell you on, like the Archer Roose canned wines. They’re higher priced than they should be but at least you’ll get the whole thing.
Also—multiple times through the night there was a smell of sewage that seemed to be wafting from the back. We were easily thirty feet away from the bathrooms, and the smell was almost unbearable. I don’t know what’s going on with their plumbing but it needs fixing.

This place has funky décor, great food and drinks, and an awesome artist-driven ethos of supporting live music. For a concert, there's a $10 minimum of food/drinks, and they need to figure out a better system so that long lines don't form at the single register (or maybe have more staff taking and filling orders?), so get here early and find a seat to enjoy your beer or milk tea and delicious fries!
