The food is incredibly delicious and fresh, and the man there (I believe his name was Roger) is so friendly and kind. The value and the portions are great as well. 20/10 recommend.

Tried the chicken shawarma on pita sandwich, kofte kebab sandwich and the grape leaves everything was absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful and clearly made with care. You can tell a lot of love goes into the food. Such a great local business, will definitely be back! ❤️

An absolute hidden gem! This is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Palestinian food in the area. You have to try the kufta sandwich; it is unique and unlike any other I’ve had in the city. The vegetarian options are just as clear of a winner, especially the falafel and cauliflower. Highly recommend! also try the arabic tea, you will thank me!

Truly one of those spots that makes Brooklyn great. The chicken kebab sandwich here is absurdly good, my go-to, and the little meat and cheese pies or hummus are great on a day where I’m coming in mega hungry.
Mostly leaving this review so the guys running the spot know that they’re appreciated. Thank you!!

Recommended dishes: Shawarma Pita
This is the BEST Mediterranean I’ve ever had, the kofta platter, shawarma, and grape leaves are to die for. Rajem is the kindest person and often gives me hummus or sipping soup to try while I wait for my order. He also often slips in extra pita or grape leaves into my order. Can not beat this food and service, truly.

The best sandwich in Brooklyn I waited tragically long to try it
Tucked away in the heart of Williamsburg, Pita Palace isn't just a spot—it's my absolute favorite neighborhood gem that I crave on the regular. Every time I step through the door, I'm hit with that irresistible aroma of sizzling spices and fresh-baked pita that promises pure bliss. But let's cut to the chase: their chicken shawarma? Hands down, one of the best I've ever had. Juicy, perfectly marinated chicken wrapped in warm, fluffy pita with all the tangy tahini, crisp veggies, and a kick of garlic sauce that keeps me coming back for seconds (and thirds). It's not overly greasy or skimpy—it's generous, flavorful, and hits that sweet spot between comforting and crave-worthy.
What truly elevates this place to legendary status, though, is the owner. This guy is an absolute human beam of positivity—warm, genuine, and always ready with a smile and a story that makes you feel like family. He'll remember your order from last time, throw in a little extra pickle on the side just because, and chat about the day's specials like you're old pals. In a city that can feel rushed and impersonal, Pita Palace (and its incredible owner) is a refreshing reminder of what great hospitality looks like.
Pro tip: Pair the shawarma with their house-made hummus or falafel for the ultimate feast. Affordable prices, lightning-fast service, and zero regrets. If you're in Williamsburg and haven't hit up Pita Palace yet, what are you even waiting for? 10/10, would shawarma again (and again). 🇱🇧❤️

Pita “Palace”…the last word leaves a strange ringing in your ears, almost as if the ancient Mediterranean forefathers erected this great monument many moons ago.
A brave man will order the pita.
But a wise man will order the “fool dish” platter, one of the more etherial offerings on the menu. What is the fool dish? I cannot tell you, as that is an odyssey each man must undertake alone.
Order the side of falafels and you were receive 10 scrumptious morsels, no more, no less. Presumably, one for each of the 10 commandments. Although at the time of the invention of the falafel, the base 10 number system had not been adopted, which is a curious mystery.
The hummus is served in a large basin. Even after a notably gluttonous session, one may simply smooth over the ravaged hummus (pictured before and after) and bring it to a bar party nearby where they can say they hadn’t eaten any of it. Anyone questioning the integrity of the hummus’ freshness will have to face an unnamed force, maybe a genie, maybe some sort of chimera, who will counter this questioning with upwards of 10 riddles, each more perplexing than the last, just as each falafel is crisper than its predecessor.
The man behind the counter will be your guide. Follow his lead and find yourself in the grand hall of flavor, so to speak. deviate from his word, and find yourself in a dark, subterranean maze, so to speak. A man wearing a long cloak operates a crank nearby. with each crank, the walls of the maze shift and rotate, trapping even the wisest of scholars.
