As someone who eats a lot of falafel pitas, this was a standout falafel pita. Props to Eddie for keeping it real.

I never thought I would find a kosher restaurant on the border of Bushwick and Bed-Stuy. And as far as I can tell, the closest place elsewhere you can find kosher food is in Crown Heights, which is about 2 miles away. Still, the shakshuka pita I had blew me away. That, and Eddie (the owner) helped me put on tefillin earlier. Considering it is a kosher establishment, the prices are pretty fair. Jewish or not, if you find yourself over here, try it, you won't regret it. My Orthodox friends would love this

a bland misrepresentation of middle eastern. I have never had worse babaganoush

How is this place not famous? I’ve tried falafels at a very popular place in NYC but nothing is as good as this. The falafels are fresh and made in house. You can tell by how soft they are. The Pita sandwich is so good and deserves more praise. I ordered a side of fries and even they looked house made and not some frozen crap. The service was impeccable. 10/10 this place deserves more customers and should be visible to the mainstream public. I would definitely come back again.

excellent pita sandwiches. excellent service.
Delicious food! Owner does it right. High quality ingredients, very fresh and taste supersedes everything else around. Service is incredible. Super friendly and willing to answer any questions! Only complaint is that the hours are not the most convenient.

The baba ghanoush is so good! As is the hummus. I got the dark meat chicken and it was grilled to perfection. Everything tasted fresh and I devoured the entire plate and didn’t feel too stuffed. I can’t wait to visit this place again to try the other meat dishes.
