The ambiance and music was very nice. The food was delicious but pricey for the amount of food. I did enjoy the strawberry raw vegan cheesecake.

I ordered a smoothie and it was full of banana and ice chunks. I could barely get it out of the straw and the texture was gross. I kept trying to drink it to see if I could get over it but it was too chunky for me so I asked if they could re blend it or make me a new one that was blended properly. They told me they couldn’t because I had already drank a ‘bunch’ of it… look at this photo and tell me this is a bunch. If you order a smoothie here make sure you specify you would like it blended well! Super annoying.

You taste good but the prices are distasteful.

If you can afford $10 fries - go for it

My last two orders have arrived significantly late & with missing items. It's impossible to get a hold of the restaurant. When I finally did, they were not at all courteous. They agreed to refund me for the missing items, but refused to offer any other compensation. Their answer was essentially- well sorry but it's only been super delayed the last 2 times & we can't offer you anything / it's not really our fault. Nothing is more aggravating than bad customer service, so I will no longer be ordering from Pitanga.

Vibe was weird. Very “large restaurant group” vibe. Not really bushwick. (Also not sure the reviews aren’t planted.) Food was fine, drink was fine, service was eh, just not really “bushwick vibe.” Not very interesting.

Breakfast and acai bowls are fresh and decent. Overpriced though for what you’re getting. $5 for a tiny piece of bread is a scam. and they only give you HALF the bread for the breakfast bowl.

Good food but small overpriced portions and the wait staff could not care less. I don't believe this restaurant should encourage tipping / allow tipping on their payment device based on how their employees behave around customers

Door-dashed some food and it took them an hour longer than the eta provided due to the business using their own drivers.

I have been wanting to go here several times cause it looks beautiful from outside and pretty busy, but honestly the food experience was mediocre and even lame.
When you go to a place and you order “the house breakfast” you expect to get the best of the house. I ordered the “Brazilian Breakfast” (I’ve been to Brazil more than ten times), well the Brazilian breakfast at Pitanga is a tiny metal pan, with a base of 6 spoons of a tasteless beans, that seems to have been taken straight from the can, some chopped tomatoes and onion of top (two spoons) a couple pieces of avocado floating there And with 1 single baked (dry) egg on top. A side of a (half piece!) of cheese bread comes on the side to make this a little sadder.
We also make order a side of Yuca fries (that was not real yuca but a processed paste of yuca - McDonald’s quality )
The service and the space were good overall. They just need to improve the level of the food that was VERY far from being Brazilian or even standard quality at least.

Came here on a Wednesday before noon (party of 2) the place was empty. The service was very mediocre we were the only people there and another couple came in after us and walked out because of the lack of service and our food was tasty but came out cold. They do have vegan options which was our reason for coming here.

Clean eating but kind of boring for the price. Good for dietary restrictions like gluten free stuff. Just not very exciting and not very large portions so didn't like the price was entirely justified. The non alcoholic drinks are a rip off for sure. $12 for like 4 oz of juice essentially. That was a little steep. Service was very good however, atmosphere was nice. Went for brunch so the wait for the food was a bit long. Fresh juices were very good.
