I’ve been coming to this restaurant for quite some time now, and it continues to exceed my expectations every single visit. The service is always warm and welcoming, and everyone who works here is truly lovely. The food is consistently delicious and incredibly fresh you can really taste the quality.

The owner clearly hires the best people. I’ve always had such friendly interactions with the staff, and they make you feel genuinely at home. Belkyis, Stephanie and Jhulie are amazing, vibrant and humble women! I’ve even witnessed moments where customers were completely disrespectful, and the staff responded with nothing but professionalism and kindness. That speaks volumes about their character and people skills especially in this kind of environment.

As someone who used to work in the food industry, I understand how challenging it can be to work with the public, and I truly commend this team for how they handle themselves. They go above and beyond.

I would absolutely give this place more than five stars if I could. I do miss when they were open for dinner because their dinner menu was amazing, but everything they currently offer is fantastic from the smoothies to the açaí bowls, and especially the Brazilian cheese bread. It’s all a must-try.

Highly, highly recommend!

I'm grateful that I gave this place a try. I was happily wrong about my expectations. The staff provided good customer care. We enjoyed the total package their dishes provide. The place has a distinctive style!

I really love the old setup and the food from the last time I visited in March. Acai was a letdown, not like I had it last time; the base was not consistent, a bit liquefied like it was blended.
It is still one of my favorites for the area whenever I visit. We shall see next time.

The waitress noticed my burrito hadn’t arrived yet and figured out that there was a problem in a kitchen. I hadn’t complained or anything, but they still comped my Diet Coke, which was nice. My ginger burrito was good and exactly what I needed (high protein) after a long workout.

Went here for breakfast with a friend and really enjoyed the food—especially the yuca fries, which were my favorite! The place has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes it great for a casual bite. I’d definitely come back for the food alone.

That said, the service was just okay. It felt a bit off having to pay and tip at the time of ordering, especially without knowing what kind of service to expect. Nothing about the service stood out, but it wasn’t bad either—just not particularly memorable.

Overall, I’d return for the food and the ambiance more than anything else.

feels like I’m in LA — fresh bright spacious airy and healthy food. Yucca fries down boots, iced ginger lemon tea is tea, pao de quejo (sp?) on period.

I have been going to Pitanga for years and honestly always bring my friends and family here. This time I ordered a chicken sandwich and im 8 months pregnant so it wasn't agreeing with me, I took one bite and asked to switch to an egg sandwich the restaurant told me since I took a bite of the sandwich I couldn't get it taken off the bill.... I thought this was kind of ridiculous and poor service especially being that I'm pregnant and literally took a bite.
