We visited New York and tried 3 places for slices. This one was the best. They have delicious garlic knots as well and the workers are awesome!

Hour before they close on a Friday night and they barely have any pizza, nothing looked fresh, and all the chairs were up on the tables giving an unwelcoming vibe. Won’t return.

As a New Yorker, born and raised, I love traveling around the city, always on the hunt for a great slice of pizza. I’m a big pizza guy, so I’m pretty selective about where I go for a slice. I used to spend a lot of time in downtown Brooklyn, especially since I’d hit the gym there, and naturally, I had to scope out the best nearby pizza spots. I’d often walk past Piz-zetta, wondering what kind of pizza wonders they had in store. Since I was already in the area, I finally decided to give it a go. The moment I stepped through the doors, I felt an instant sense of warmth—like walking into your parents’ house just before supper. The old-school New York vibe was unmistakable. My go-to pizza picks are a classic cheese and a Margherita. Not many places can truly perfect the balance of fresh, sweet tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fragrant basil, all sitting atop a light, crispy crust—but Piz-zetta absolutely nailed it. I appreciated the pizza so much that I had to go back for another slice. Beyond the food, the people here were incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. It was a real pleasure to experience both the atmosphere and the flavors this place had to offer. I highly recommend checking out their website to read about the history of this pizzeria, from its origins to where it stands today. You can really see the love and effort that goes into every pizza they make. I can’t wait to go back for another slice-but that’ll have to wait for another day. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a pie!
