My niece had her daughter's party here and the room was lovely. The food was good however the timing was terrible. We had the appetizers and pasta but then the main entree wasn't coming and indeed they just started serving the entree about 1030pm, and the party started at 7pm. More than half the guests left before the dinner came out and it was a shame that she spent all this money and it was wasted. I don't think they were prepared correctly or they should have taken the order sooner to get the food out earlier. They should be more timely in how they handle the food flow; who wants to start eating at 1030pm at night. It was terrible that guests were leaving and only one quarter of the meals were coming out. They should have offered her a partial refund.

Ordered pasta primavera and a chicken ceaser wrap this past Sunday, neither had any flavor or seasoning. The pasta was dry and flavorless, had to throw it out, absolutely disgusting! This is the 2nd time this has happened, sad, it used to be good, no clue what happened?

Marinara pizza pie & garlic bread was good . Something different to try . Would recommend the pizza here for sure !

Love their grandma pie. Very flavorful and thin crust with a crunch. All their food is good.

We had a last minute large group of 8 pop in for lunch and boy were they busy. This team works hard. The food came out relatively quickly and hot. Servers were great and attentive even if they were juggling regular customers and the birthday party they had in the back.

Don't walk....run to this pizzeria! This place has hands down The. Best. Food. Period! The fried zucchini strips...oooh! The antipasto salad...yum! The pizza...oh my! You can tell everything is made fresh with top quality ingredients. The Grilled Veggie Panini with pesto and fresh mozzarella is divine. It's not on the menu, but ask them to make one...you won't be disappointed.

I have been here several times. The owner has served us. He and the rest of the staff are extremely nice. The food was delicious. We all had different things and all enjoyed it very much. I will definitely recommend all my friends and family to the Avenue U- D'Amore site.

Over priced, always late, not that great. When I called to ask about the status of my order 1 1/2 hours after placing the order, the girl on the phone couldn’t be honest and give me a straight answer. She gave my 3 different responses to the status of my order, how hard is it to be straight forward? Will never order from this location again. There are way too many other pizzarias around, no need to continue ordering from this one.

I see some mixed reviews! But it's my first time here and all I can say is the two young men working in the front of the store were polite and prompt.I had two different types of pizza and they were both delicious! The Establishment itself is well kept and has a nice atmosphere to it.

Pizza was good but attitude of workers meh. The acted as if customers don't matter. We ordered zucchini sticks. The order was very greasy and half the portion of the ones I ordered last month. Not good.

Located in the middle of a relatively "sparse" area of Sheepshead Bay, this pizzeria does not attract a copious amount of crowds - which is positive in my view because the atmosphere typically does not get tainted with dystopian and rowdy clientele. Instead, the vast majority of the clientele here are really down-to-earth and pleasant to be around with. Speaking of the atmosphere, this is where Pizza D'Amore really shines relative to other local pizzerias in the area - the ambience is very warm and homely. It has a cozy and cute dining room located in the front that is perfect for dining with a date or family - furthermore, a very spacious room that is plastered with classical Italian decor is conveniently located in the back for parties of all occasions. When it comes down to the food, Pizza D'Amore definitely does not disappoint. The Rigatoni al Fungi and Meatball Parmigiana entree which my party feasted upon last week was so exceptional that it even rivals that of other high-end Italian eateries in the area - especially from a value perspective. Finally, the service was on-point and very satisfying. Luigi, the owner, is a very diligent and compassionate individual - he will make it his best interest to accommodate and please the clientele, whether they are new or returning. Connor, one of the waiters, is also very attentive and efficient. My only "complaint" or feedback for this place is that the house / disco / dance music that currently plays in the background should be swapped for soft lounge / ambient / jazz tracks. Other than that, this establishment is a true "hidden gem" in its own right.

Food was good. Had take out. Probably would have been better to dine in.

Order from this place a few times, this time it was an absolute miss. Sadly the pizza was just not to par when it comes to Brooklyn Pizza. On a side note, no one in the restaurant was wearing masks, which is very sad give the current situation in NY.
