I was born and raised in Coney Island, New York, though I eventually moved down to Florida. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been coming to this pizza spot—it’s always been part of my visits back home. Whenever I’m in New York to see my dad, I make it a point to stop here for what I’ve always considered the best pizza in Coney Island. Usually, I grab my slices to go and enjoy them at home.
Today, I decided to treat myself and actually dine in after a quick run to Dollar Tree. I ordered two extra-cheese slices, but before sitting down, I asked the guy preparing my pizza if I could use the restroom to freshen up and wash my hands before eating. He told me no. Thinking he hadn’t heard me, I repeated myself, explaining that I was a paying customer planning to dine in, and asked again if I could use the restroom. His response was the same: “No, no restroom.”
At that point, I gathered my things and walked out. The whole experience was ruined. Instead, I went and got Chinese food, which turned out to be fresh and delicious. Still, it’s disappointing, I really wanted that pizza. Unfortunately, after this, I won’t be spending my money here again.

Called in an order coming from by Barclays Center twice & when I arrived the order hadn’t been even started. I was asked by a Mexican worker, oh! you wanted me to make it? I can make it now. He looked at his co-worker that looked Italian like duh! I walked out and purchased my food elsewhere. Second time I went to their other location around the corner & asked for a slice & was told I had to pay before they even put the slice in the oven. Refuse to eat at either location because of their unprofessional staff there. My friends and myself refuse to enter their establishments. Also saw worker picking his nose while making food.

I’m Brooklyn and I’m all over NY and this slice is the best!! I traveled coast to coast and I’m talking any where. I live in Orlando but I’m back often and I stop here every day when back home!!
I’ve been going here for decades. The slices are huge, the quality is wonderful, and they give a generous portion of cheese and sauce per slice(bc the original owners are back). The garlic knots are pretty good too. Definitely recommend this place! Just a tad bit sketch when waiting if ur not used to it. But the owners and workers are really nice

Tried Pizza on the Run and was pleasantly surprised! The pizza was absolutely delicious and ready in just 15 minutes. The place shows a bit of wear and tear, but the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Prices are a little on the higher side, likely due to the location near Coney Island and the beach—but overall, a solid spot for a quick and tasty bite.

I consider myself a pretty big fan of pizza. I've been to many pizza places in my life. Between my husband and I, this is our top favorite pizza of anywhere in the world. Keep it simple with cheese or pepperoni. And add an extra slice because you'll definitely want more.
