While checking out a few Halloween houses while in the area, we figured to do a little pizza challenge between two pizza places in tha area that people talk about. Especially one that post a lot on social media. Of the two we went to, in our opinion, pizza wagon pizza was the better of the two. We just kept it simple and had a regular pie with no extra toppings plus a slice while we wait. I also liked the old school pizza parlor feeling if the place. The only downside was the service. It was ok. I guess they had a long day. We’ll be back to try some other items when in the area.

This place is all about the sauce. Great crust and a nice cheese to sauce ratio. I got a regular slice, nothing fancy. I popped in randomly and was not disappointed!

The pizza is terrific but the guy wearing the beige hat was incredibly rude to me for no reason. He was giving customers back the incorrect change.
Maybe I just showed up on a bad day but I’m disappointed with the customer service

We called to place an order for a pie the workers are very rude and obnoxious and very disrespectful when we asked if they deliver they been cursing in Spanish then hung up the phone on us thats a terrible way to treat customers the guys working that shift are ruining what was a good Pizzeria in bayridge is a very toxic atmosphere now those guys should be fired before they completely ruin Pizza wagon. There are better places Mancinis Ginos Vesuvios with great Pizza and decent respectable good service.

I decided to cut through Bay Ridge on my way home Saturday when I drove past Pizza Wagon. I hadn’t had pizza in a while so I decided to give it a shot, since pizza is usually quick & inexpensive. I had a chicken roll which was a bit small but tasty. Though it may have been a bit smaller than I’m used to it was also cost a little less so I’d call it even. I also had a white slice of pizza which was crispy & delicious. The place is so small they don’t have a visible restroom. (In NY if a restaurant has less then a certain amount of seating they’re not required to have a restroom for customers
unless a law changed I’m unaware of) It seemed like most of their business was take out that day. They had some memorabilia decorating the walls & awards. If you’re in the area check it out.

Pizza Wagon is the kind of old‑school Brooklyn gem that reminds you why New York pizza has its reputation. We’re regulars here, but somehow their pies still manage to “woo” us every single time.

Yesterday, we ordered a large pie, well done — and what arrived was nothing short of perfection in a box. The crust had that perfect balance of crisp and chew, the sauce and cheese were spot‑on, and the whole pie carried that unmistakable brick‑oven magic.

They’re cash‑only (as only the good ones are), which just adds to the classic, no‑nonsense vibe. If you’re in Bay Ridge and craving a slice of true Brooklyn tradition, Pizza Wagon is the place. Highly recommended to anyone who loves pizza done right.

Pizza Wagon is hands down my go-to spot after late nights working weddings. It’s one of the most authentic and tastiest pizzerias in Brooklyn — truly legit. The slices always hit the spot, especially for those midnight cravings. They’re open late (usually until 1 or 2 AM), which makes them a lifesaver when most places are closed. Just make sure to bring cash, because that’s all they take. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a real Brooklyn pizza experience!
