Paris-based here. We fell for the name as it reminded us of home. The food was unfortunately tasteless and unreasonably priced. This applies to every signe one of our meals, whether the choux desert or the miso salad. The charcuterie plate we ordered as starters was just basic and dry slices of meat thrown in together. The atmosphere was interesting: would you want to be listening to charli xcx all night long whilst seated in a chic restaurant? The service was polite but “babied” us way to much. Each time my drink was empty a random hand would startle me and pour some water in my drink. Our $70 wine bottle was taken off our table the moment it was empty, meaning no time to let it sink in as we were finishing our glasses. We felt the place was promising but left disappointed and $180 lighter. We do not recommend.

Some of the best seafood in the city comes from the PdF kitchen and everything else, especially the desserts, are great as well. The price lends itself to a special occasion but it’s worth stopping by even to just enjoy some great cocktails, the strong Spanish-focused wine program, or some exciting after dinner drinks. One of my favorite spots in NYC.

We had an amazing experience at Place des Fêtes! We went for a birthday and they were so thoughtful by leaving a card on our table and giving us a glass of sparkling wine.
The service was impeccable. Our waiter was so friendly and helpful! Her suggestions were fantastic and really made our meal what it was.
The mussels were fantastic and were prepared in such a novel and delicious way. The squid and celtuce salad was so amazing. I have no clue how they were able to create so much flavor in such little space.
For our mains, we had the potato dumplings and the bucatini special. The potato dumplings were so well executed. The sauce that they served it with was so delicate, but so impactful. Amazing mouth feel too. The bucatini was fantastic. For once, it was better than a pasta you could make it home.
What a great experience and I will definitely be back again

Overpriced, over seasoned, salty food with no cohesion. Really did not feel like we got our money's worth... $8 for some sourdough slices when we're paying $20 for a measly portion of potato dumplings with celeriac that costs a couple of dollars to make??

One of the best all around experiences I’ve had in new york. The wine selection was unbeatable and our server walked us through the tasting notes as well as allowing us to try different options.

This wine bar is delightful. The food is so delicious. Some portions are smaller than others but overall everything was yummy and we left feeling full. Highlights include the sardine toast, the malfadine, and the maitake mushrooms. The wine is superb!
Great ambiance for a catch up with friends or a romantic date night. The service was also very welcoming.
