I come here almost every week and I’m kind of obsessed with it. The decor is wildly eccentric — there’s an ice cream shop setup that never seems to be active, these indoor-patio-type structures, and a whole bar world in the back I’ve still never explored. You even pay at what looks like a candy-shop counter. It’s just fantastic.

It’s also almost always empty, which I truly don’t understand, because the food is great. The menu is mostly classic...

The staff is so friendly and treat you like you're a part of their family. The owners are so kind and really take pride in the business and their food quality. I have eaten here since their day one and have never had anything that wasn't delicious. It's hard to pick a fave but their enchiladas suizas is the best I've had in NYC. Get a weekend special like pozole or menudo. So delicious and comforing.! And their birria combo is still the best in the neighborhood...

The vibe is very cute and down-to-earth. Legit Mexican spot. I got the birria cup-o-noodles which was awesome. The server was super friendly and attentive as well. Will definitely be a regular spot in my rotation!
