Facts:1. I am giving a 1 star review because the restaurant lacks transparency and business ethics. The menu does not have real prices.2. Chef/Cashier/Plate preparer does not Speak English.3. The Plov meal tasted good, just not $32 worth. Price was EXPENSIVE. I went to pick up my $16 Plov for lunch during my work day to find out it costs $32.24. I was charged per pound and there was a LOT of FAT added to my plate.Personally I will never get food from them again. The experience felt like walking in a third world country and being hustled by a local.
The plov is decent, but could use more meat. The person working here didn't know any english at all.

Plov Center Oshton" in Sheepshead Bay, BrooklynIn the heart of Sheepshead Bay, where Russian, Ukrainian, and Turkish flavors meld seamlessly, lies a culinary old school gem: "Plov Center Oshton." This charming Uzbek café, tucked away on Shore Parkway, is a testament to the rich mosaic of Central Asian cuisine that Brooklyn has embraced. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in the warm, cozy ambiance of a traditional Uzbek home. Peppered with artifacts from home. The service is inviting and kind, making you feel like an honored guest rather than just another diner. But it's the food that truly steals the show. The Plov, hailed as the best authentic Uzbek rendition in the neighborhood, is a symphony of flavors and textures. Each grain of rice is perfectly cooked, mingling with tender chunks of meat and aromatic spices. It's a dish that transports you straight to the heart of Uzbekistan. The Samsa, with its flaky, handmade pastry, is another must-try. The layers crunch delightfully with every bite, revealing a juicy, meat-rich filling that leaves you craving more.Parking is a breeze, with ample street and public options nearby, making it even more convenient to indulge in this Central Asian feast. In a time when many eateries struggled to weather the storm of the pandemic, "Plov Center Oshton" stands as a beacon of resilience. These mom-and-pop establishments, with their authentic, home-style offerings, are the lifeblood of Brooklyn's diverse culinary scene. They've not only survived but thrived, thanks to their unwavering commitment to quality and authenticity. As a proud second-generation immigrant, my family's journey to success in America was paved by the heartwarming aromas and flavors of my parents' homestyle deli. I deeply understand the significance of establishments like Plov Center Oshton. They're not just eateries; they're beacons of hope and community, symbolizing the dreams and aspirations of countless immigrants who arrive on American shores, seeking to weave their own tapestry into the grand American dream. ???So, if you're a Brooklynite with a penchant for diverse, delectable fare, or simply a food lover seeking a new culinary adventure, make your way to "Plov Center Oshton." Let's rally behind these local treasures and celebrate the flavors that make our borough so uniquely delicious. Support Local!

I went over to get two dishes of plov and the service was awesome. Really friendly and really welcoming. After I got my food I was offered a free drink out of kindness. The food that I got was really good. I and my family enjoyed the food. Great service, great food, great restaurant. Will come again
