I visited for a late lunch in mid-December just to buy something small for a quick bite. A man walked in and placed a large $500 order in front of me while I was still looking at the food case, but without asking if I was in line (which I was). I was told to wait 10 minutes while she prepared the large order even though all I was ordering was 2 white sausages. A little annoyed, I stepped outside to look up some other food options nearby before deciding to give Polka Dot some grace and wait a few more minutes. Shortly after, she took my order and gave me a discount for the inconvenience, which was very nice of her and appreciated. I tipped the money I would have paid before the discount for her hard work.

The sausages were absolutely delicious. You can tell all the food is homeade and there is good work put into making the food tasty. I don't fault the woman for asking me to wait, as it was just her and one other person in the kitchen, and I can tell this is a family business full of love and I was glad I was able to support them.

Nice little Polish restaurant serving out of a glass case. Most dishes need to be reheated (which they will do for you). I highly recommend the potato dumplings!

Dietary restrictions: The staff is all very familiar with which dishes are gluten free.

The potato pancakes were amazing. The best I’ve ever had aside from my grandmother’s. Thank you for your kind service, and reminding me a bit of my childhood.

My Polish girlfriend swears by this place as her go to spot for authentic Polish cuisine. We’ve been here many times, and ordered an entire spread of food for a Polish Christmas.

I think the food is delightful & very good. There’s 3 tables in the restaurant, but it mainly operates as a take out & reheat at home establishment. I’ve had their freshly fried croquettes and they’re heavenly! The borscht is great as well. Lovely chicken and pork cutlets too. All of the cabbage salads are great, my favorite being the beetroot one.

All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Might need to be a bit more clean however. I’ve seen a an unfriendly creature or two wonder around the front door.
