Pollo D'Oro Reviews
Definitely one the best restaurants in the Brooklyn area. Has a unique cuisine & the atmosphere is very chill & service is great.
My favorite dish is the Salmon D’ Oro which is a green rice wit peas & peppers, very well marinated & on top of rice is a crispy salmon & salsa criolla. I always look forward to coming here. Great Spot!

Pollo D'Oro is a Peruvian restaurant that offers a variety of dishes known for their quality ingredients and great flavors. The ceviche and salads are praised for their freshness, while the portions are generous. The drinks, particularly the mojito, are well-received. The atmosphere is chill and welcoming, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. The service is generally attentive, although some customers feel that servers could be a bit more focused on the tables. Many have enjoyed their visits and plan to return.
While the food is mostly good, there have been some concerns. For instance, the chicken can be a bit dry, and the salad could use more dressing. Popular dishes include the Salmon D’Oro, featuring green rice with peas and peppers, topped with crispy salmon and salsa criolla, as well as entrees like Lomo Saltado and Pollo Saltado, which offer a good balance of meat, onions, peppers, and rice.
Recently, the manager demonstrated a commitment to customer satisfaction by addressing an issue with the Jalea, which is a fried seafood dish, ensuring it met quality standards. This shows that Pollo D'Oro cares about making things right for their customers. Overall, it is a solid option for Peruvian cuisine, especially when other nearby restaurants are busy or closed.
