I've had this place on my list and found myself nearby today. We're glad this restaurant chose our neighborhood. The experience here is reliably good. Our server showed real warmth while providing efficient service. I can't think of any improvements needed.
Incredible food. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious - pita & dips, snap peas, lamb meatballs, fusilli. Visited on a Monday and loved it so much we came back again the same week.
Best pita I’ve ever had and dips are the perfect pairing. You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. The flavors, the presentation, the atmosphere was on point. Best meal we’ve had in NYC!
In one Word: Excellent ! You can go there without any second thoughts !
Just simply the best!!
We had bar seating for a dinner for two. Reservations definitely needed as the space is very small. The food was delicious! We started with the fresh baked pita paired with hummus and the onion dip. Then we had the dish of the night in the delicata squash. The meatballs were very good, but cooked a little uneven. That’s really our only complaint. Fantastic meal!

Disappointing Dinner, But Decent Happy Hour
I had high hopes for this Mediterranean restaurant given its nearly 4.9-star rating, but my experience fell short of expectations. The lamb meatballs, priced at $20 for just four pieces, were a letdown. They lacked the distinctive lamb flavor and had an oddly gummy texture that reminded me more of a generic Trader Joe's product. Served with tomato sauce and yogurt, the preparation felt more Italian than Mediterranean.
The butternut squash dish was similarly underwhelming - described as "good" but nothing remarkable, especially considering the price point. The small plate concept means you'll need to order multiple dishes to feel satisfied. Two people would likely need to order at least three plates to make a complete meal.
On a positive note, the happy hour is a bright spot. At $18 for a drink, pita, and mezza, it offers good value. The pita was notably fresh and delicious, and the labneh was particularly enjoyable.

Pomp & Circumstance is a gem! The pita is warm and fresh, the dips are amazing, and I love the ambiance. The staff is so welcoming, the cocktails are great, and it’s the perfect spot for a relaxed night out. Looking forward to my next visit!

Great service and delicious food! We loved their unique take on cauliflower. The shrimp bolognese was fantastic and we loved the mushroom risotto. The torte cake was 10/10 and worth saving some room for. The waiter was kind and gave us a wine recommendation that we loved.

I love this restaurant. We ate at the bar and the service was incredible. The best bar seating experience I’ve had at an establishment.
My one qualm is that tapas style eating is encouraged, but I would say that you can also order individual dishes and they are more than sufficient. The portions are apt and you don’t really have to eat family style if you don’t want to. We had to come to that conclusion ourselves as family style was recommended.
The dips were out of this world! Especially the onion dip. I would have loved to try the hummus and I would go back for lunch just to enjoy some dips and breads, maybe a glass of wine as well.
The space is a bit tight inside so in the winter, you will feel a chill whenever the door opens and it can be slightly distracting as other diners walk past you — that’s not rare for a NYC restaurant but it is something to note.
Overall, I was really content and would go again. I would rate this closer to 3 dollar signs, because between apps, your main, and drinks, you could easily spend $80-$100 per person—even without dessert.
Vegetarian options: My friends are vegetarian and they had sufficient choices. They both ordered the mushroom risotto and then we all shared dips and breads. I got a pasta that was technically also vegetarian.
Dietary restrictions: I’m nut free and there were sufficient options for me to enjoy.

Great ambience and service. Good was lovely but honestly felt a bit too salty. Nice plate presentations and flavor pairings. The octopus was huge

My sister and I came in for NYE dinner and had the Lahmajun, Rye Pita and Hummus, Meatballs and Mushroom Risotto. The restaurant is very quaint with good vibes and the food was absolutely delicious! They have a nice selection of wines as well.
