Food was fresh and outstanding. Stuffed zucchini flowers were just made and artichoke was perfection. Our pasta with crab meat delicious. Service accommodating and unrushed.

Ponte Vecchio was the perfect place to come back to Brooklyn for the holidays. I came here with my mother, who grew up in Bay Ridge, and it felt like such a special way to celebrate with both great food and great memories.
We started with the Lioni burrata with broccoli rabe, baked clams oreganata, and calamari — and every starter was excellent. The burrata was firm and creamy without being overly watery, and the broccoli rabe was perfectly cooked, not bitter at all, and nicely seasoned with garlic and oil. The baked clams and calamari were both delicious, but the marinara served with the calamari really stood out — truly exceptional.
For mains, I ordered the pollo caprese, which was tender, juicy, and a very hearty portion. My mom had the veal spiedini, and it was just as satisfying. After all the starters, the portions were so generous that we both ended up taking leftovers home.
We finished with dessert — tartufo and what may be the best pistachio ricotta cake I’ve had in a long time. A perfect ending to the meal.
Service was attentive without ever feeling overbearing, which made the whole experience even better. Ponte Vecchio is absolutely worth the trip to Brooklyn — for the food, the atmosphere, and the nostalgia. We’ll definitely be back.

I met my friends here for dinner. The restaurant was festive for the holidays. Service was excellent, our waiter was very friendly and attentive. My linguine and clams were very good . Everyone enjoyed their meal.

We come to Ponte Vecchio annually, 6 original Brooklyn girlfriends, who now live in NJ, LI and Brooklyn. The food is always spectacular and Patrick Bell is always our waiter. He is the absolute best and makes our annual tradition even better! Ponte Vecchio is lucky to have Patrick representing their brand.
I think the vibe of this place is great and service is excellent. The food is pricey, especially for Bay Ridge, and leaves a little to be desired. We got the calamari which was quite good and a big portion to start. Bread was good too. Had the veal parm as my main which only came with broccoli. It was aight. Nothing special. the sauce was good and it was pounded thin but could have been a better piece of veal. Also no pasta? This is Italian American not Italian. The pasta/primi and secondi combo shouldn’t apply here. Let me tell you why… my partner got the farfalle dish which had large chunks of lightly fried chicken in it. This dish was reasonably tasty but large chunks of meat should not be in a primi. Considering the vibe of the rest of the menu, I thought it was a bit strange to not include pasta and have a relatively mediocre veal chop. I also thought her dish was just average. Nothing special about the pasta and strange to have such large chunks of light breaded chicken.
Overall I would rate this below Michaels or Spumoni in Brooklyn and below the great spots on Arthur Ave but better than your average Italian in Manhattan for vibe and service. It is a great place with a big party but maybe not the best if you want top top tier Italian cuisine.

Very nice place but very overpriced. I ordered Spahgejtti fruits di mare. $34 on the menu and $40 on the check
Used to go regularly when I lived nearby. Very good food and excellent service.

Great food, Nice spot. All was great except for our service. Drinks were unattended, had to flag the server down for any type of request. This was a business dinner and I was covering the bill. I asked the server what veal dish he recommends. His reply if you aren't sure the veal parm is a food option. I said sure let's do that. They bring out veal Marsala and I said I thought we agreed on veal parm. He shrugs and walked away. No apologies, no offer to bring out the order I asked for. When my client said that he couldn't have something on his salad plate he reached down and took it off by his own hand. I wouldn't take clients here again.
Had a great dinner! The food was outstanding, service impeccable and just an overall fabulous experience!
Very good.

Not what I expected. Certainly not what a restaurant priced like this should be like. Not very classy place. Very classy prices. More a family style place. Tons of children. Tons of noice. Depicted very differently on line. Took my friend there for her birthday. Traveled quite a while to get there. Classiest thing about this restaurant is the awning outside.
