I placed an online order for the $5 3-piece blackened tenders. When I arrived, I was told they were out. I then asked for 3-piece spicy tenders, which they also didn’t have. I was then offered 3-piece classic tenders, but I don’t like those, so I asked to switch to the $5 signature chicken instead.
The manager agreed and said there would only be 2 pieces instead of 3. At the time, I agreed because I didn’t realize the value difference, so I ended up paying $5 for 2 pieces of chicken instead of 3, which is what the deal is supposed to include.
Later, I checked the app and saw the $5 deal is supposed to include 3 pieces of signature chicken instead of two. I went back to the front desk and asked about it, but the employee didn’t care to offer a solution. She just told me I should speak to the manager, who was in the back at the time.
She also didn’t call the manager over or try to help, just told me to wait until the manager came out on their own.
I said forget about it and went back to my dining. Guess they were trying to help me eat less for weight loss lol.

Tonight’s staff (Thu, Nov. 13, 2025 at 9:25pm EST) really hooked me up with one of THE BEST tenders combo meal, sans drink for $1 less (love that option!) meals I’ve ever had. Super prompt, kind, informative, seamless team work, generosity, all delivered with this staff of 4 that I encountered. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Best Popeyes in Brooklyn. Clean fresh chicken. Not over seasoned. Always hot and fresh. Their side dish containers are full. They are not stingy on the sides. I live in East New York and I drive 40mins when I need my Popeyes fix. The Asian community know what they are doing over there. Thanks for being one of the best Popeyes around. 😋😋😊
