I had the garlic parmesan wings. They were still crispy when I got home and that was more than 30 minutes after I bought them. Loved the flavors. Way to go Popeyes.

I just bought wings at this Popeyes at Utica and the Indian guy shakes the sauce with his hand and see nothing wrong with his germs getting back inside. This is filthy!!!! O stars for sure

BY FAR THE WORST POPEYES IVE EVER BEEN TO!!!
I do NOT recommend this location.
I went there a couple times now and each time, the same cashier is working and when I tell her my order, she puts in something completely different and when I correct her, she acts like I gave her the wrong order.
You’d think that’s where it ends right? No! She even goes so far as to put things in the bag that I don’t order and if I didn’t check before I left, I wouldn’t have gotten what I asked for.
The manager is mediocre cuz she stands there and sees the thing happening and does nothing to change it.

The food was ok but the services was bad and the place looked like it needed to be cleaned out better looks very dirty and unsanitary to be a fast food place. A lot of homeless people in restaurants making it unsanitary to eat your food inside.

I had a terrible experience at this Popeyes location. The app clearly stated I could get double fries with my order, so I selected that option. When I arrived, a worker rudely informed me that they “aren’t participating” in the promotion. What’s worse, they admitted they wait until customers show up to tell them—or if it’s delivery, they just short you on the fries! This is completely unacceptable. If they aren’t honoring the app promotions, they need to make that clear beforehand. I feel scammed and won’t be returning to this location. Do better, Popeyes!

My recent experience at Popeyes on Utica Ave was beyond disappointing—it was infuriating and unhygienic. I ordered a 12-piece chicken tender meal, expecting nothing more than food handled with basic care and respect for the customer. Instead, I witnessed an appalling lack of professionalism and disregard for cleanliness.
As my order was being packed, the employee, Anthony, dropped one of my tenders directly onto the dirty, high-traffic counter. I could not believe what I saw next: instead of discarding it, he actually placed the contaminated tender into my box as though I wouldn’t notice. This wasn’t a slight misstep—it was an outright failure to maintain even the most basic standards of hygiene.
When I called Anthony out on this, he initially ignored me. It was only after I persisted that he reluctantly brought it to the manager’s attention. Thankfully, the manager instructed him to remake my order, as any decent establishment would. But then, as Anthony began preparing a replacement, he realized they didn’t have enough spicy tenders. I assured him that I was willing to wait for a fresh batch. At this point, things took an even more disrespectful turn.
The manager came storming out from the back and had the audacity to call me “difficult” for refusing to accept food that had been dropped on a contaminated counter. I was simply advocating for myself and my right to clean, properly prepared food. Yet, instead of receiving an apology or any courtesy, I was accused of being unreasonable.
Let me be clear: I spent my hard-earned money to purchase my food, and I will not be bullied into accepting unsanitary food, nor will I be shamed for standing up for my basic rights as a customer. This experience was unprofessional, disrespectful, and downright unacceptable. Popeyes should be embarrassed to have a location with such poor standards of hygiene and customer service. I urge corporate to investigate this incident and seriously address the lack of respect and care at this location. This is not what customers deserve, and I, for one, will think long and hard before ever returning.

I didn’t order anything because the manager was so rude, telling the cashier not to answer my questions as a new customer. Very interesting. That was the manager. Not an associate. That’s the model of how to treat customers. Would have that happened in a more affluent community? As a community, we need to force establishments to treat Black and Brown with more respect. It reinforces how we need better food, better food, better options, better treatment.

Just went to this outlet and ordered 5 pieces of chicken with 2 side orders and biscuits got chicken tenders so disappointed.
If you are looking for fast food that tastes good this should be your choice. Their fried chicken is absolutely delicious. Very crispy yet juicy. Their wings and the wide variety of sauces allows you to take your tastebuds on a different journey with one meal. They have a wide variety of sides as well

Yesterday at around 3pm there was a women at the register who was extremely rude to my husband and my children. Someone needs to have her trained to be more respectful and professional. She was dark skin with dark hair and this should be taken seriously because who would want to eat there with that attitude.
Slow but they’re nice in there. Don’t pick up the phone but it’s Popeyes lol
This is the worst Popeyes I've ever been to. It's definitely a bunch of morons with no sense working here. They mess up ur mobile order and refuse to fix the situation. Not only that, when u make a fuss, they ignore u like ur the problem. I'm pretty sure this has to be independently owned because there is no way these people are trained on customer service... hell and common sense. Google needs to have a zero star option!
