I ordered the maple cardamom latte and it was tasty. But it cost $10.98. I'm used to paying a bit more for oat milk (unfortunately) at this point, but that felt way too high for what it was. If the cost were lower, I'd definitely be back because it was really nice.

The staff is always friendly and efficient. Poppy's have many interesting local items for purchase (frozen and refrigerated) along with their regular food menu items. I'm not a huge fan of their cookies or brownies, but I do appreciate their seasonal pastries and especially their danishes and scones. I appreciate the seasonal change up of the menu and how they use fruits in season to create their pastries. Over the summer I really enjoyed their fig and cheesecake danishes. I don't find many bakeries baking with fig so this was a sweet surprise and they delivered! Their menu switch up each season keeps me intrigued.
Their matcha is decent and usually my go to. However, I am not a fan of the soups. They tend to taste bland.
However, if you're in the area it's still worth visiting. There is very limited seating.

Nice service, cute cafe, but they up-charge non-dairy milk $1.50!!!! Highway robbery, especially for those of us who cannot/will not ingest animal products for dietary and or ethical reasons.
An egg sandwich for $12 is insane. tasted terrible. Also they hide their menu prices so you don’t know until you get to the front of the long line

I love my little Poppy’s. Especially when I can get a seat and a little silver tray with a little chic which is by far the best little egg cheese smush you’ve ever had.

Love all the baristas here! My favorite place to grab a quick matcha in dumbo.

Poppys is a treasure in Brooklyn Heights! The lattes are the best I’ve had, and now, going to any other coffee shop always ends in the phrase, “it’s not as good as Poppy’s.” The baristas are INCREDIBLE and I never leave without a smile on my face from their delightful morning company. Shout out to Hunter, Evi, Evan, Kyle, Silja, Sam & Maddie who always make the trip to Poppy’s such a treat! ☕️💕
