Came for happy hour and had the martini and old fashioned. The martini was fine, nothing notable, and they do not ask you how you like it. The old fashioned was the WORST version of this cocktail I have ever had. Not well balanced; it tasted both too strong of poor bourbon and watered down at the same time, quite the feat. It also took nearly 10 minutes for us to get these cocktails, and the place was around d 50% capacity. Will not be returning, stay away.

I hate to leave a poor review for Endswell since I've been an enthusiastic patron since it opened pre-pandemic, but I've been so disappointed with my experiences there lately. The "molded cherry on top" was the fact that they have now cut their steak frites and nicoise salad from their menu--which were arguably their two best dishes besides the coq au vin. I'm devastated by this change, and that combined with the poor service means I will likely not be visiting again anytime soon. I totally understand there are super real reasons to cut menu items, but together with the long wait times to receive food or even get the attention of the servers, it just doesn't seem worth the trip. Holding out hope that things get better--it's been such a gem of a neighborhood spot, and I'm always rooting for them to succeed!

Good place, great service. Bathroom is NOT wheelchair accessible. It has no steps, but it is down a VERY narrow hallway (approx 20-22" wide) that is not passable for a wheelchair.
I would like to have reviewed the drinks and food at this establishment, but I sat there waiting to be served while the blonde server ate mouthfuls of her dinner by the kitchen, and then served some other patrons. At that point, I left to go somewhere else with better service.

Ordered a burger, fries and salad. 90% of it was not eatable. Burger was ok. Bread was old and dry, fries were way undercooked and salad was soaked with dressing. Sent everything but the burger meat back and still paid for it! Definitely stay away!

A solid fine in terms of food and cocktails. They leave doors open in the summer which is both warm for patrons indoors and a waste of energy!
The music was way too loud for a Thursday night. Service was good, and menu was fine. Nothing special.

Music was a touch loud but it was Brat on shuffle so it was perfect
Calling this place subpar would be generous. Came for early dinner before going to BAM. Based on reviews I thought we'd enjoy it but honestly the service was nonexistent, food meh, and atmosphere was just unimpressive. It was barely 6PM on a Saturday, maybe 3 other guests in the whole place, we didn't even bother to confirm our reservation we just sat at the bar. The "bartender" gave us our bottle prosecco on ice and spent the rest of his time curating his tacky playlist. Never once came over to refill our glasses or ask if we needed anything. We ordered a large cheese plate and I guess their "chef" is stuck in 1998 thinking prosciutto, brie and Dijon are classy selections. The entire wait staff was huddled up goofing around on the opposite end of the bar while we waved for their attention over 10 minutes to get the check. Honestly with the competition on that strip they should do better. I will NEVER come back.

Nice spot with some outdoor seating out front. Good cocktail selection and the sides we got to snack on were tasty… food prices are a bit steep, which is why we opted for the sides
Too loud. Asked them to lower the music a bit. They were blasting dance music in a cocktail bar establishment. We even sat outside where we thought it would be better but they had speakers blasting music outdoors also. It was a no go. Twice they said they would do something and then twice they didn’t and totally ignored us.
It a place to go if your hormones are raging and you don’t want or desire to have quality conversation… a place to go if you just want to yell at each other. “This place is cool, right?” “What?” “Place is cool” “What? I can’t hear what you said” “PLACE IS COOL, RIGHT?” “WHAT”… and so on.
And the music sucked! And the staff were just way too affected for my temperament.
Not recommended if you are an adult.

Decent spot. Fries excellent. Dirty martinis seemed to be from barrel and not made by hand, which is problematic. Honestly this place was just ok with everywhere else in NYC they need to learn to make an impression or they won’t make it

Only good thing is the aesthetics. Came for brunch and this was my experience: the wait staff waited 30 minutes to come back to take our food order (after we called them over and only two other tables present who were already eating), the food was disgusting: got the salmon eggs Benedict and the salmon was soo smelly, I definitely didn’t eat it all. My friend updated her order at the end and the waiter didn’t write it down so he brought her the wrong thing. When she said something about it he was recounted their conversation and left out the part he forgot. Looks like a cool place for drinks but would not recommend at all.
