This place is adorable! I’m a sucker for good curbside seating and PDA has a great outdoor space. The interior is cozy but has a great homey feel and full view of the brick iron oven pumping out pizza after pizza.
Note: the bathroom sink is operated by pedal - don’t look for the knobs lol.
Ok food: the shoshito peppers came out perfectly charred, the arancini are wonderfully crisp and cheesy with an unexpected yet not overwhelming bite (of spicy). We had the sun gold & oyster mushroom pizza - YUM! Perfectly thin Neapolitan pizza with the perfect layer of toppings to keep it from getting soggy.
The no-bake cookies with an espresso top off the meal ideally.
Definitely enjoyed this Brooklyn gem, and happen to think the name of this place is brilliant!

We were visiting from Australia and were staying across the road. We at here twice because we loved it so much! Fresh home made pasta was so delicious! The service and drinks were amazing, and the outdoor atmosphere was really cute! We loved it!

Really great food — PDA salad, shishito peppers and special mushroom pizza were all wonderful
This place has really started to go downhill. Sometimes they have good food, but now its just become hit and miss so often that for the price we tend to go somewhere else.
I can't help but wonder if this decline is driven by just a focus on money now rather than the food, atmosphere, and customer relations. The decisive experience was when we reserved and then were forced to pay a cancellation fee even though the outdoor table we reserved was not available due to weather. Any business willing to treat repeat customers like that is on a clear path downwards. We won't be back.

It looks like this place is generally good, but we had a pretty laughably bad experience. We were the literal only table during brunch, and they forgot 2 things we ordered including an entree. The rest of the party had food for about 15 minutes before we said something, and the waitress literally said, "I keep telling the cook to start making it but they won't". Incredible. Never seen or heard anything like it. Lol

Good service from the waiter but the food was such a waste of money. $69 for food that mostly didn't taste good and didn't full me. I felt robbed. It could have easily been $39.

PDA has some of the best shishito peppers ive ever had. Whatever they put on it is sooo good. Their wings are also really good. I have had their pesto pasta twice and it was great the first time but unsalted the second time. Their pizza is good as well. The only thing i find to be meh is their cocktails. I’d stick to non alcoholic or wine. But definitely a place worth trying and coming back to.

Loved their pizza but the wings were an even bigger star. They're out of this world. Great, kid-friendly place. Will definitely come back.

Loved the vegan white pizza. Bites of perfection!
We ordered 2 pizza pies, 1st with half pepperoni and plain on the other half. 2nd pizza was a special with mushroom and artichoke, gouda cheese with a green sauce. Both pies were overly salted with a burned taste on parts of the pizzas. The other parts were less burned but overly salted. We couldn't find the cheese(gouda) on the 2nd pizza perhaps it was lost in the green sauce. We were definitely disappointed. We also had drink with mezcal that waa a play on a negroni, it was just mezcal on the rocks nothing memorable.

Ordered their “vegan red pizza” which had vegan cheese on the photo in Doordash. Pizza came without any cheese at all. Literally red sauce and some garlic on a cracker.
