Food was super flavorful! Highly recommend the oxtail overload pattie with spicy beef. The woman working at the counter was very welcoming and friendly and kindly explained the different offerings. Don’t skip out on the sauces!

So I was watching David’s been here on YouTube and he went to Puffs and gave it a great review so I was eager to try their patties so I went right after watching the video as soon as I walked in the door didn’t fully closed behind me as yet the girl behind the counter said “ just to let you know we only have Callaloo patties” with an attitude no hello welcome so I was like ok I’ll try it I also saw the infamous pineapple ginger drink and ask her for one and I said can I have a pineapple ginger lemonade and she had a nasty attitude and said it’s not lemonade which one do you want the lemonade or ginger pineapple. I’m never going back there horrible service and the callaloo patty was tasty but was extremely spicy and I wasn’t informed. Bad service will never return to give them my money.

Learned about this place on social media and had to try the over load patty. As back up options I ordered the mild beef patty and the oxtail patty. Overall the crust on the patties and the coco bread were perfect. However the beef patty meat was under seasoned. Very bland. The oxtail patty was seasoned better. The overload was okay, overall tasted bland. I would not order again.

Took a chance and ordered and was very pleased with the overstuffed patty. I would recommend not ordering through wonder. Sadly the pizza patty was unavailable and they made the refund process quite difficult. Currently ordering through grubhub fingers crossed I can try the pizza patty today

The mango lemonade is SO good and the patties are nice and yummy and SOO crispy. The lemonade is so perfectly the sweet and the staff are amazing and nice. GO TO PUFFS !!!

Delicious Jamaican patties! I had a spicy and it was perfectly flavorful, not too hot, just enough spice. The co-owners were also present when I visited for the first time and they were very courteous, as were the ladies who worked behind the counter. I will visit again and support this Black-owned business! 🇯🇲

I wanted to visit Puffs when I saw it on David’s YouTube channel. When me and my family got there, the young Lady didn’t greet us, barely responded to us. Once the order was placed, my sister noticed the young lady using crumbled used dirty gloves from the counter. My sister asked if they were low on gloves, and a man came over and asked what’s the problem. We told him about the gloves and he said “did we see the glove touch the food”? Actually while he was still arguing, the girl was handling another customer patty with the same dirty gloves. He kept arguing saying that we wouldn’t do this to white people, and we don’t support our own black business. All because we brought it to his attention of reusing dirty gloves! Mr wrong n strong was very combative and asked the girl what my sister ordered so he can refund her. As a business person he should have used this as a learning opportunity for both of them! You have to be mindful when it comes to cleanliness and serving the public. He even went as far to say it was my 2nd time there - trying to validate his point and using me as a repeat customer. This was my first there. After waiting 20 plus minutes, and spending $55-the food was barely warm. The calaloo patty was really dry (seems to be spinach from a can) the pizza patty, and oxtail patty was disappointing as well. We end up throwing out the food. I didn’t come all the way to New York to get sick. I will definitely not be visiting this place again or recommend it to anyone!!! That grade would be F!!

The place was very clean and the customer service was great. They were even patient as I was not ready to order. My fiancé got the oxtail overload pattie, and I got the Jerk chicken overload pattie. The patties were GREAT!! Absolutely delicious. 5 stars. I would definitely come back. I would say it is a bit pricey, but I thought it was worth it. The overloaded patties will have you full for hours. The place is very small, if you are a group of more than 2 you can't eat them in there. The place can only hold about 4- 5 people in there max. I highly recommend giving them a try.
