management clearly understaffs this place. Just tried to get a takeout container of soup and was told it would take 20 minutes. I have eaten here a couple times in the past and the food is decent for sure but processes need serious help.

A cool takeout place with a few tables. Majority of options include chicken. Quite good. Unique take on a chicken cheese steak. Worth a visit.

Was overpriced and had a confusing menu. The chipotle sauce and the chicken had no flavor.

I've been eating here weekly for years! An outstanding neighborhood restaurant. Great food and staff. All of the chicken dishes are terrific, but so are the soups, salads, and sides. Vegetarians will still find plenty to enjoy. Don't skip the delicious "purbird sauce" or chargrilled pita.

Small unassuming place but the food was AMAZING! Got the lunch special (choice of chicken and two sides) and it was enough for my son and I. Super friendly service and the food was hot made to order! So good, like your grandma’s home cooking!

OMG, I just had Purbird's Chicken Cheesesteak. Who needs Philly when you can feast on this great sandwich. BTW, while we're on the subject, GO CHIEFS!!!

Best place in the neighborhood for a post-workout meal that is filling and protein-rich but not greasy. I like the breast or thigh sandwiches and the sweet potato fries.

It could be one of those places that's better if you're a regular and know things work, so you don't get tripped up by the fact the "breast and thigh" combo is actually breast OR thing. The half chicken seems like far less than half, and $35 including tax for the combo with spinach and jalapeno mac-and-cheese plus water seemed high. However, the chicken preparation was good, with great skin texture and a bit of smokiness. And the mac-and-cheese had an impressive crust. And while the chicken wasn't so large the sides were massive. Try the green sauce.

Was that silky smooth grilled Ciabatta homemade?I ordered takeout and considered calling the restaurant to congratulate them on a job well done. It’s been a long time since I have tried a new restaurant that exceeded my expectations. Every dish was prepared perfectly. The broasted chicken made me believe in grilled chicken again. The mashed potatoes were so delicately whipped. Dairy ratios were spot on. Broccoli cut into stalks usually need to be cooked a bit more. They were that and charred. The most important part of this meal was the bread. Was that silky smooth grilled Ciabatta homemade?
