Drawing its roots in the noble tradition of Yemeni coffee, this coffee house first serves fabulous beverages: especially taste the Sanaani, cardamom coffee ($10 for a pot of sharing coffee), or a classic "pour-over" ( $8 for the large model) to appreciate a beautiful expression coming from high-class Arabica coffee beans, processed with respect for the product. The typical pastries, Khaliat Alnahl and Sabaya, or even the coconut Basboassa are really all very tasty. Delicious !

I ordered 2 honey comb bread, a coconut basbosa and a pot of tea. Paid $50 for this including $6 tip. Yes I’d agree it’s a bit highly priced but idk why people would give negative reviews and defame a business making assumptions by themselves. My ethnicity isn’t middle eastern but I give respect to people and then I receive the same respect back (I’ve worked at Starbucks and other retail jobs)Anyhow a very very lively place, we reached around midnight and it was packed. We aren’t the type who’d just sit for hours, we had our food enjoyed the tea and left within 30mins.Food wasn’t served the next second which some people expect, took 7-10mins but was fresh and tasted absolutely delicious. Mind you it’s supposed to be sweet, you can ask the staff or research before coming about the types of pastries they serve.I would highly recommend this place if you like a lively noisy atmosphere which isn’t noisy due to the blasting music rather people talking to each other.

Jalal at this location was extremely polite and kind. Served us when the place was about to close. My family and I are very grateful as coming here really was worth the trip. This place is amazing.

We had spent the weekend in Williamsburg eating everything in sight. Fabulous breakfast on our last day, but couldn't head home without stopping here. Adeni Chai. Strong black tea, cardamom, nutmeg, and milk. I can still smell the amazing aroma and would drink this every morning if I could. The pastries were warmed to order and drizzled with honey. Khaliat Alnahl. We are suckers for a cheese breakfast pastry. An intriguing slice of pull apart bread. Each pearl perfectly crisp on the outside, protecting the tender sweetened cheese-filled doughy interior. Sabaya. Presents itself as what may taste like a slice of baklava. Nope. Tender layers of delicately buttered bread. That's right. Bread! Brought back fond memories of a Chinese treat from my childhood, but no clue what it's called.

This is my favourite coffee shop in NYC. Everything about the cafe is authentic, I love seeing the boys behind the counter! They are a special bunch. I prefer Arabica coffee bean above all else now, you can’t go wrong with the Adeni Chai or Yemeni latte on this menu. I get it with no sugar, light honey. The taste of the spices remind me of my mom’s Indian chai, if you’re into deep, rich flavour this is your spot and worth trying. It will make your heart warm and happy.

The vibes here are always good. I love that it's packed at night. Sometimes you just want to be somewhere that's not a bar. And their drinks are amazing. Don't forget to try their desserts.

If you like strong milk tea like adhana or strong good quality coffee and a friendly environment this is the place. Premium coffee at a higher price but well worth it.Far more better than Starbucks...This is a store you wanna own and inquire about getting a franchise.

Really cool Yemeni coffee shop! I got their Adeni chai and their honeycomb bread, both of which were really good. They serve their tea in small pots, with the smallest going for $10 but it could be shared between two people. The Adeni chai, however, uses evaporated milk (no substitutes) which isn't great if you're lactose intolerant. But you can adjust the amount of sugar that gets added to the chai, so it was just the right amount of sweetness for me. The honeycomb bread was super fluffy and they usually pour honey on top of it - a really good combo with the chai. This place does have a decent amount of seating (tables and counter space by the windows), and they have wifi, but you have to ask for the wifi password. There are some outlets scattered around as well. I went on a weekend afternoon to get some work done before getting dinner nearby, and this place was consistently PACKED for the several hours that I was there. Since a lot of people get the honeycomb bread, the tables can get a bit sticky with honey, so definitely watch out for that. Overall a really cool cafe but the atmosphere for me was a bit too hectic - would recommend coming on a weekday instead if possible.

Poor service. I took someone else’s order cause the servant kept insisting it was mine, it was very awkward and he blamed me. The servants just don’t care, they don’t communicate with customers whatsoever. The cashier couldn’t understand what I was asking and didn’t respond to any of my questions. Just wow.

Come for the Yemen-style cuisine and coffee. It’s definitely got good ratings from the quality of the food and the uniqueness of what it offers. Don’t come if you want good quality milk work coffee.
