I ordered the fragrant pot for self-pickup at Panda. I called and asked quickly. It will take about fifteen minutes to get to the store early. I want to ask how long it will take. What to say? I don’t know how to answer your question. So I just started. Just say that you have just started to do it and you haven’t done it yet. You still have to wait for a while? What do you mean, I don’t know how to answer your question? The last time I ordered, I also ordered the spicy hot pot. When I was about to eat it, I realized that it was just a piece of paper? Today I just wanted to say, can you put more paper in? What do you mean there is paper inside? I definitely don't have enough, so I asked you to get it alone. When I opened the takeout, there was no paper at all. Except for a few pieces of paper I got from you alone, there was not a single piece of paper. Is there a hand wipe after you finish the takeout?

Way overpriced. Food is ok. Also, Teo kf my friends reported them taking food away from the bowl which seems very odd fkr then to do.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times. The food here is generally pretty good but can occasionally be inconsistent. One time I had a dry hotpot bowl to myself (~1.5 lb) and I was able to fill up a whole bowl of oil from the dish as it came out way too greasy.

That aside, my main recent issue with this place is the older workers hounding you for tips which other people appear to echo the same sentiment in recent reviews. Personally if the food is DIY, and the only service is basically the food being brought to you, it doesn’t really justify paying a 15-20% tip.

Going forward, if I’m getting food here I’ll probably get take out. I would also recommend paying in cash.

The waiters here are very disrespectful to customers and make random comments about women's figures.

Good to find a hot pot place in this area. Both the dry hot pot with seafood and the crispy fish with sour soup base are yummy. This place is spacious and clean. Customer can also pick their own ingredients for customized dry pot. However, the option cause risk of food quality. We noticed customers took long time to pick food and left the refrigerator open, and at the end did not close the refrigerator properly. The servers walked back and forth but no one pay attention and no one noticed that refrigerator were not properly close for a very long time. The refrigerator should have e been made to be able to close automatically to keep food fresh.

Varieties of meat, seafood and veges to choose from.
Reasonable price.
Fast service.
Can choose the level of spicy, I chose Hot and it is the exact level of spiciness that I was craving for. Not too salty or oily like the other dry pot places.
I believe I'll become a regular there. I'm so tempted to try mala tang next time as they have ten varieties of soup bases for that.

Tried this place couple days ago. Tasted good, level of spiciness was acceptable without any feelings of numbness, good portion for the price. Definitely will come back again.

I don’t want to talk about this, but it had passed for a few months. The foods are good, love it, vibe is alright. But the point that I don’t like is the service. The younger workers are good, they are polite and they are kind. But the old workers are kinda too care about the tips. Someday I go with my friend, when we leave we forgot to give tips, we almost go out from the restaurant, a worker came straight to me and asked me for tips. But the point is she did nothing except bringing the foods to me. While I go to order my things and pay for it, she took away the receipt, I can’t remember how much I had pay, and I don’t know how many tips I should pay, but she just came to me and ask for the tips. I feel that is not polite, the customers should have a choice on the tips, or the workers should give back the receipts to customers.

The food was delicious and not too expensive. However, the waiter asked me for a tip without any service or adding water. It was embarrassing ? The kitchen chef got full marks and the service was very poor.

Soupppp. dry hot pottt. We lovee this location since you can choose your own ingredients at the fridge nd they charge by weight, you can also just do their menu combos. There’s also a la carte fried skewers.

The spicy soup w milk we ordered was amazing, sounds weird but you dont taste the milk at all, feel like it was just for color. It was spicy yet tolerable. Amazzingg. Portion size was hugeee, really good price! The lemon yakult i ordered was just ok(no pic). There is two bathrooms, one of them has hand dryer.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. Right from the start, the manager approached us at our table and said it’s required that we tip a minimum of 15%, which I found quite surprising given the self-serve nature of the place.

At this restaurant, you pick out your own food, bring it to the cashier, and find your own seat. While I don’t mind the concept of self-service, the mandatory tipping policy felt unreasonable since there were no waitstaff serving us and we had to do everything ourselves.

If you enjoy self-serve dining and don’t mind the enforced tipping policy, you might have a different experience. For me, the forced gratuity for no service was off-putting.

Amazing place. The staff was thorough and attentive when I first stepped in. He went through the menu and let me know what the restaurant had to offer and how things work. You can pick your own ingredients for hotpot from the fridge and they charge by weight if I am not wrong. They also have different sauerkraut fish dishes for one person portion or double portion and you can choose the flavor of the soup. The fish dishes come with a bowl of rice. There are other varieties of food, mostly rice dishes with meat and also other interesting appetizers and cooked skewers. I ordered the flounder fillet with rattan pepper fish flavor soup (1 person portion)and also the cheesy shrimps plus a medium passion fruit green tea bubble tea all for about $23-$24! The price is extremely affordable, nice ambience and attentive staff members. I highly recommend this spot if you are near 86th street, Bensonhurst!
