Radio bakery has been a longtime favorite of mine. I frequent the Greenpoint location and wanted to try out the Prospect Heights location as they have a different menu. Only difference between the two locations is that when there is a long line on a Sunday morning at Greenpoint, it will always be moving with customers going in and out at a reasonable pace. On their busiest time on a Sunday I’d be out in 30 minutes. Prospect Heights on the other hand is an epic failure with respect to team hustle to see customers in a reasonable amount of time. At their busiest time also on a Sunday, I waited over an hour outside with about half the time the line not moving at all. When I went ahead to sus out the situation, team members inside were chatting lallygagging with only 3 customers being helped inside the shop.

I don’t mind waiting a while for really good pastries but it’s a problem when employees have no regard to do their jobs in a timely fashion to serve committed patrons. Probably best to come here on a weekday when there’s often no line unless you have the expectation that you’ll wait an unreasonable amount of time on a weekend for some really amazing food.

Hands down the best bakery ever! Not only are their breakfast items unique creative and delicious, their sandwiches are unmatched! My faves are the smoked salmon (breakfast) sandwich, turkey & kale, tofu, and tuna salad lunch sandwiches

do not believe anyone that says the sandwiches are bad bc my partner, family, friends and I have all frequented this and the GP location and tried everything. I’m not joking when I say I’ve tried every item here. And everything is phenomenal

Service is always friendly also. I’ve unfortunately always had to wait in line for 10+ mins though

The line to get in is very long, so be prepared to wait 45 minutes or more. The food was okay—nothing amazing. The focaccia and cardamom bun were burnt in some areas. The food is not worth the wait in my opinion.

This place was pretty good. They had very limited options at this location (or they just ran out). Pistachio croissant really good, corn bread was kind of a miss for me. If their pastries were slightly heated I think it would be better. Coffee is not recommended in my opinion.

Holy gawd the pastries are INSANE!!!! We had the triple chocolate croissant, apple danish and earl grey morning bun and OH MY GAWD IT WAS ALL INCREDIBLE. It is not too sweet, flaky, and packed with fresh ingredients! My fav is definitely the chocolate croissant- one of the best pan au chocolats I've ever tasted in my life!!! Staff are all super friendly and welcoming (tho side note I got the burrito focaccia and it was very yay salty so be careful haha) But I will defo come back for the sweets!!!

I love Radio Bakery so was disappointed when I came to this location and felt like it was a step down.

First things first, the line is ridiculously long anywhere from a 10-2hr wait. If you come on the weekdays it would be around 10 min. I live in the neighborhood and have to say I’m not sure it’s visitors or what but people seem to be overall aggressive, take that as you will.

I ordered the BEC, Cinnamon bun and the tart. All tasted stale and not fresh at all which was actually shocking.

The staff is always friendly, willing to answer any questions but compared to the Williamsburg location the quality of the food seems like a step down in my opinion. It could have been a bad batch or off day which I get but for the price you pay I would expect that they keep the same standard.

Overall I would recommend this location but just know that depending on when you come the line can be around the corner

Yes it gets busy in peak hours, go early or during weekdays for shortest lines. That said the sandwiches and pastries are fantastic

Incredible bakery, one of the better ones in NYC with a variety of items in unique flavors. The focaccia sandwich was so good. I realized I don’t care for cardamom but the cardamom bun had nice texture. You will need to wait in line. It’s pretty efficient. This spot is more of a bakery so I would not advise getting a coffee or beverage unless you’re desperately in need of caffeine. I can’t wait to try the other location.
