I finally visited Radio Bakery after watching two documentaries about them back-to-back. When a new food spot is hyped up, it often doesn’t live up to expectations—but Radio Bakery truly delivered. The long line was daunting (I usually don’t wait in line for food), but I’m so glad I did because it was absolutely worth it.

I tried the tomato focaccia, sausage and chive focaccia, pistachio croissant & chocolate croissant, each one was incredible. It felt like a little slice of food paradise. I’ll definitely be stopping by again before leaving NYC!

Couldn’t believe my luck when I found out about the opening of the PH location. Went this Sunday morning and got in line at 7 am. Was one of the first people in. When I left at 7:45, the line was around the block and easily an hour long. What can I even say? The pastries are some of the best I’ve ever had. Highlights: the smoked salmon focaccia was one of the best food items that I’ve had in New York City. 10/10. The matcha mango bun was sensational: amazing matcha flavor and a hint of sweet tart mango inside. 10/10. The triple chocolate croissant was delicious, as was the rhubarb croissant. Both 8/10. Radio staff: please keep using organic flour and French butter, we’ll pay the price! The quality shines through. Easily one of the best bakeries in New York City.

This is a serious bakery. They have incredible focaccia and croissants, and it’s well worth the wait in line. A true NYC gem!

The best bakery with an extremely long wait. Worth it but they can run out of pastries! However the sandwich is also a great item to get as well. The focaccia bread on the sandwich was perfect and the chocolate croissant was tasty. There are some small tables in the front.

Would try again.

very anticlimactic. with all the hype circulating i was expecting to absolutely love everything i tried. the pistachio croissant was more orange than pistachio. the rhubarb custard tart was overly bitter even after the custard. the french onion soup croissant was my favorite and actually very good but the croissant itself for all of the pastries was nothing special. waited 45 minutes and i definitely don’t think it was worth that wait

Out of this world. Worth the wait - the kindest staff, the BEST sandwiches in the city and the CUSTARD TART IS TO DIE FOR!

The rhubarb and custard croissant is what dreams are made of. I could eat one every day of my life and still savor each one.

For those monitoring the wait- the line on March 13 at 8:45 was 30-40 min long.

Don’t bother with the espresso here, it was terrible. But no one comes here for the coffee.

Long line but moved quickly with lots of staff inside. Amazing and unique baked goods. Croissants were out of the oven fresh. Going back to get French Onion Croissant, triple chocolate and Shakshuka 👌🏻

I got online just after 7:15am and was number 15 in line. was inside by 7:40, out by 7:45. Only reason i took off a star for atmosphere is because you will be waiting, even if you get online first at 7am! It’s worth the hype though! I got three items and a coffee. Matcha morning bun, pretzel bear claw and everything focaccia w chive cream cheese. I had the focaccia for breakfast and it was scrumptious. Fresh baked, still warm, the scallions were crisp, the cream cheese wasn’t melty, and the bread was crispy with just enough chew. Coffee was fresh. Will report back when I dip into my other two goodies!
PS I clocked while I was there that they have fresh loaves of bread, I cannot WAIT to try that!

The sandwiches are pretty good and the staff is very sweet! But the pastries are just good to okay, you could go to any other well-reviewed bakery in the city and not have to wait 45 minutes in line for an $8 croissant, which sell out before 10am almost every time.

Just as lovely as the Greenpoint location. Lots of friendly dogs in line. Get there early because they will sell out of many items. And the sandwiches don’t come out until 11am for lunch

We waited for 1 hour and 15 min on the first Saturday morning. Unfortunately when it’s our turn most of the parties are already sold out, so we tried their turkey sandwich, sweet pea sandwich, croissant, cookie and corn cake. Our favorite is the croissant, the layers are very good, you should eat it fresh, it gets a little bit stale the next day. The cookie is also very tasty! The texture is great. Corn cake is a little bit crispy outside, and moisture inside.
