This is our first time coming to Brooklyn branch, so we expect the same taste as the one in west village. The taste was different, the broth is not as rich, the noodle is a bit too firm even though we order the same level of firmness.
Let’s start with the good: Portions were great, especially for the price point. You have the option to get a whopping SIX slices in your bowl. I’ve paid the same in other ramen places and gotten a measly single piece. If you’re not feeling that hungry, you can pay less for two pieces - which is still generous. Along with that, the pan-fried dumplings were a nice snack on the side providing a blend of chewy and crispy bites to enjoy. Unfortunately, the service was a bit disappointing...
Danbo Ramen of Park Slope was a great experience. Most important, the ramen was delicious and the mochi was satisfying.
It is a small place with limited seating, but the wooden bench in the corner was fine. Additionally, there was nice music playing throughout my time in the restaurant.
Would come again for ramen.
