Very recently my mom and I visited Ramen Spot Made in NY in Brooklyn, and unfortunately, we left disappointed.

We started with the karaage chicken, which, while flavorful, was extremely dry — so much so that even the dipping sauce couldn’t make up for it.

For my main, I ordered the Shoyu ramen and swapped the pork belly for chicken. When it arrived, the chicken was actually cold, as though it had been added after the ramen was already...
i got the chicken paitan and it was delicious! i’m always looking for a non-pork base option and this was perfect because it was a duck-base broth.

the chicken was super juicy and flavorful. i got a side of their house made chili sauce (not too spicy and a little sweet)—it paired well with the ramen.

if you’re craving ramen, ramen spot will def satiate you
It’s a good place and the ramen is good but the chicken isn’t as good as kyuramen, besides that the noodles and other ingredients are good but the wait time is long and the lady that works there on Wednesdays has an attitude and is always letting out her stress and doesn’t seem to understand protocols since she’s only there that day.
