the best nigerian food in ny, hands down. they don't add too much salt like some of the other restaurants in the city. I'm so glad I found this place. Highly recommend!!!!I've ordered the Ogbono, Egusi, red stew, jollof rice, and pounded yam. Plan on trying more from them!

My experience was not so great. Although this place was recommended by a frequent buyer, i was not satisfied nd din not enjoy my meal. End of a turkey wing and 2 small pieces of beef not worth the price I paid. Plus it was hard because it was not not freshly made had to be warmed up. Not worth the price.

I was craving some wholesome soup with pounded yam. And, to my surprise the Ogbono was just what my soul needed. Foe some, it is an acquired taste. But, Rantab delivers on flavor! The owner was super nice and welcoming, which made me feel at home. She suggested that I try their Fish and Jollof rice. If you know anything about jollof rice, you know there is a known battle amongst regions on who has the best. Well, let me be the first to say, THIS Fish and Jollof was slamming!!!! She had packed it up as a to-go, but I had to try it out before leaving. Let me tell you, I came home and had to have one more bite before putting it away. I will definitely be back for another home cooked meal. Well done and thank you for your hospitality ladies!

This is SOUL FOOD straight from the Motherland and it's SERIOUSLY some of the BEST of I've ever had. This is straight from the heart of Ogun state. These Nigerian dishes are AWESOME! I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE JOLLOF RICE AND OFADA! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD. Everything I've tried here is of the HIGHEST QUALITY! And the customer service from the stuff is the BEST!! I Can't say enough good things about this HIDDEN GEM! Please come and support this treasure. They have received blessings DIRECT from Oya. Much respect. Thanks a million ?

Jollof & fish were delicious! Properly seasoned and just want you need when you’re craving jollof. If you miss your aunties cooking, go to Rantab. The owner is so sweet as well, don’t be shy stopping to chat. I’m looking forward to coming back here with friends!
