Food is full of flavor. Decent portions. This is my second time here and I keep finding items on the menu I want to try later.

After having enjoyed Bersi's eye-poppingly large platters that feed 3-4 people for $20-60 in total, not even Ras's lunch special ($18 bowls) seemed like a good deal. I did prefer the collard greens at Ras over Bersi's though. (Too bad I didn't try the injera at Ras for a comparison.) All that said, I did enjoy the Bole Bowl: the crunchy soy crumbles were a fun textural element, and the avocado injected creaminess into the mix. FYI, they have a couple of beverages with honey: honey wine and hard kombucha.

Good food but not great food. We've had much more interesting Ethiopian dishes. Our server was not very attentive. Those who purchased cocktails said they were excellent.
I got one of the platters and a variety of sambusa to-go. Very tasty and a good amount of food for the price!

We absolutely enjoyed our first time at Ras. The service was friendly and the food was wonderful. I got the Langano bowl and the medley of textures and flavors was just harmonious. If you’re getting any of the bowls, I would ask for their hot sauce on the side so you can customize your spice level. Will be coming back again!

Literally my favorite restaurant in crown heights. I frequent with friends or occasionally go on dates there. EVERYONE that I've dined there with loves the food. Mercato is my goto for dinner with tiramisu for dessert. Excellent cocktails.
Ras Plant is a vegan culinary gem where each dish is a masterpiece, particularly the Sambusa with its perfect crispiness and the Kitfo, a revolutionary take on a traditional dish that was both bold and delicate. The Minchet Abish and Ras Tibs were equally impressive, bursting with flavors that speak to the chef's skill in crafting memorable vegan cuisine. With its warm ambiance and attentive service, Ras Plant offers an unparalleled dining experience, standing out as the best vegan restaurant I've visited.
Another awesome fully plant based restaurant in Brooklyn is @rasplantbased for delicious Ethiopian food! I love getting their platter and enjoy it with the soft injera rolls!

We absolutely loved our experience at Ras! The food was bursting with flavor - every dish we had was so wonderful - we couldn’t pick a favorite! The service was fantastic - extremely attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is fun, but not chaotic - there is a live dj, but it didn’t feel like the music overwhelmed the atmosphere or the ability to hold a conversation at your table. I can’t wait to return to Ras! It’s become a favorite of mine, for sure!
