Nectar in Brooklyn is a hidden gem that never fails to impress. With its cozy atmosphere and welcoming vibe, it's become a favorite spot of mine. Whether you're in the mood for a laid-back evening or a lively night out, Nectar has you covered. The food here is simply divine, with each dish bursting with flavor and creativity. From the appetizers to the main courses, every bite is a delightful surprise. And the cocktails? They're expertly crafted and always hit the spot. But what truly sets Nectar apart is its live music scene. Whether it's a local band or a talented DJ, the entertainment here is top-notch. It adds an extra layer of excitement to an already amazing experience. If you're looking for a place that offers great food, fantastic drinks, and unforgettable music, look no further than Nectar. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

It’s okay. Friendly and responsive staff (mostly except the bar below - the girltender just plopped ice cubes into my water splashing all over). Beware of Auto Gratuity 20%, a delivery Fee of over 3% and a Credit Card Surcharge 3% AND IF THAT IS NOT ENOUGH when you complete the transaction there is STILL a prompt for a TIP. Glad I asked for a receipt, which calculated results in a 40% charge up after taxes and fees. You decide.

Came here with my girlfriends after an event to try as on Instagram it looked like a most especially while in Brooklyn ! Service was decent nothing to bad . The waitress made suggestions when asked . I'm not going to say she had the best attitude but it also wasn't terrible. The ambiance this place gave is like a chill vibe. Most people that come here seem to be regulars. This place is one of those sit wherever you want type of places. Hookah is offered . Food wasn't bad it was def tasty and made fresh to order . I was pleased with my salad as it was very tasty and filling. The fish sandwich was also well cooked and seasoned well.

This place was HORRIBLE! I went for a brunch and a Day Party afterward. We were a party of 8 and not one person was satisfied. They didn't have 75% of the very limited lunch menu. Then what they had was barely edible. My French toast was made from a hamburger bun! Steak was tough. Eggs were runny. Salad was old. Drinks were ok but they said they ran out of fruit for the drinks. It was 1pm! We wound up getting Pizza from next door which was really good. It saved us. Our waitress did the very best she could. She was really trying to be helpful but management put her in a bad situation. The Day Party was EPIC! It happens the last Sunday of every month. The music was great the crowd was nice and everyone had Pizza from next door.

I enjoyed the music, the food was good, but the bartender, Denise refused to sell me water and gave herself a $20 tip.I asked for two bottles of water. She said she ran out of water and sold me 1 bottle for $8. I got a bottle of water and a margarita and the cost was $48. $20 for the margarita, $8 for the water and she told me that the rest is her gratuity. I was so thirsty and it was a hot day. I gave my friend the bottle of water and ended up having to ask a stranger to share water from their pitcher. My friend went after me and was able to purchase 2 bottles of water for $11.The worst part is I tipped 20% on all my drinks and food. They should be ashamed of how they are doing business.

The music was fantastic. The food was good, but the service was shady as hell. As you can see, the receipt isn't itemized. I ordered two bottles of water and a margarita. Denise (according to the receipt) gave me one bottle and told me they had no more and charged me 48.23. She said the margarita in a small plastic cup was $20 and that the Poland Spring was $8 and the rest was gratuity. She gave herself a $20 tip. I tipped 20% for every drink I got and for my food. Also, my friend went after me and got two bottles of water for $11. They told me there was no more water and the price changed for her. I try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but based on other reviews, this is common practice at this establishment. I work hard to make an honest living and they should too. This is so unfortunate because up until the last transaction, I did have a good time. The male bartender was honest, but the woman behind the bar was really messed up.

The food was decent but not necessarily memorable. My favorite thing about this place is the ambiance, inside and out the place is super cute. Great brunch spot , decent service. 7.5/10

Went for Sunday brunch. The music was way too loud. It was a super cute place and everything else was fine but I couldn't hear any of my friends talk over the music and it gave me a massive headache.

Loud, disgusting, and awful. Why is it SO loud?? You literally can't hear yourself think during their day-time brunch hours. What an awful place.Music is so distorted due to volume. Play your music at a normal volume. No one enjoys being unable to talk at 10:00am. No need for music to be this loud, especially in a garden space. You WILL get tinnitus if you come here. This "bar? restaurant? event space?" is for Miami-DJ types: total losers with bad taste listening to Despacito remixes at 18,902hzAlso: not well-maintained, stinky, and rude staff. Long wait times and overpriced drinks. For an outdoor spot with good music and good vibes go somewhere fun like The Lot, Nowadays, Elsewhere, Baby's All Right, Purgatory - this place is so trashy and poorly run.

Vibes were awesome! Great decor! Good music entire time, however they do take extremely long when serving drinks. My boyfriend and I ordered our drinks before ordering appetizers or food and by the time our first order of drinks arrived (about 50 min later) we were done with our appetizers and half way done with our meals. Drinks were good but not an hour wait good. I ordered a vegan Buddha bowl, after a few bites there was a really long black hair in my food (my hair is light brown/blondish). My bf had no complaints about his vegan burger. If going to this place for first time be prepared to pay a pretty penny, we had two drinks each, a vegan burger, Buddha bowl, and a shot each and our bill was $270 if we paid with credit card and $260 of paying cash. They seem to tend more to parties. The waitress we had was really sweet and funny.

Had a fantastic time w/ my lady on a Sunday evening. We unexpectedly walked into a 30 & over event & we’re welcomed w/ open arms.Great atmosphere, music, the food was so good we ordered again before we left & our waitress & survey, Christina, was amazing!Definitely would recommend!

My sis in law is visiting from Florida and I was told to take her to this cafe from a co worker. We sat at the bar and our first round of drinks were not what was anticipated but the spinach and artichoke dip was amazing. My jack and coke was barely to the rim. Even if it was with more coke I wouldn't have minded and the pink lady tasted like freezer burned juice. After I had someone else join us and the bar tender barely acknowledged his presence. When a server approached him he told her how rude the bartender was for not even acknowledging that he was there. When we got the next round I ordered a Paloma and it was terrible. Tasted more like juice with another leftover drink becaue the cup was still dirty. So I ordered another jack and coke that ended up coming in a smaller cup. After this I decided to leave because the bar tender was indifferent to my request for a different drink despite being overly polite after giving me a the same drink in a smaller cup. Wouldn't come back but hopefully other people have a better experience because the music and environment is a great vibe.
