came for trivia night on a Tuesday. Bar staff/the atmosphere was very friendly and chill. Trivia however was painstakingly slow and I could barely hear the host who was not even reading the questions clearly but like rambling about any context she could think of. Every question was insanely niche. Been to tons of trivia nights in nyc and this one was easily the most bizarre. Leaving 5 stars since I don’t want to fault the bar but definitely not coming back on a Tuesday night.
I'm a guy that likes a good dive bar where I can talk to other patrons and the bartender. At least at the time that I went, I achieved my goal. Reclamation has great regulars and staff that made this Texan very comfortable. I never felt like I was alone. Everyone was friendly. If I'm ever in Brooklyn again, I'll be back. This bar is a hidden gem. The cocktails are great. They have some very fruit forward cocktails and pretty much a variety in tastes from coffee (espresso martini) to dairy friendly (pina coladas). I can also appreciate they have 3 frozen cocktails as well. The bartenders are also attentive and welcoming. I'll be back, and i'll recommend.
