So I'm the type to view the menu online ahead of arrival so when I get to the spot I ain't waisting no time. no where on the website or menu do they advertise alcoholic drinks let alone a bar, so before I pulled up to red crab I grabbed a few shots from the liquor store and had them inside my coat and my wife had a small bottle in her bag. When we got inside the entrance area we were patted down and searched. I felt like a criminal going through central booking downtown lol. The door guard informed us that there was a bar and we responded by saying it isn't advertised so how would we know. After having our liquor confiscated we proceeded to be seated but the smell of the seafood and loud music was to much so we decided to just go home and order line. I can't remember the exact order but we ordered a variety of things and all the food was good, nice size portions. My only complaint is being frisked at the door I'm 49 and I have never ever been patted down before I dinned anywhere in New York City and still as of today there is no mention of a bar or adult drinks on the website anywhere. If your looking to dine and party with the coolest hood celebrity's from the surrounding NYCHA projects and don't mind beingfrisked at the door then this is the spot. Me personally will never be returning.

Stopped by for a quick lunch outing with my friend earlier today, and our server Tempest was amazing throughout our entire dining experience. There was an issue with our order concerning my friend's allergies, and Tempest did her best to accommodate our needs which we greatly appreciated. The food was great and Tempest's customer service was even better. We'll definitely be back!
If you want to party on a monday night here you go. Only went due to my Titi bday 🎂 🥳 but would not return. Too crowded. Had to wait a looong time for waitress n food by time it came i was halway home. Just go to bar n order your food n ask for take out its quicker than seating at a table. This place is a day party on a monday night

The food came quick and the staff were attentive . However , my friend and I ordered the weekend special and added eggs . I got Cajun and she got red crab sauce both mild and we both have been using the bathroom and throwing up for the last 10 hours off and on . The food was good but for some reason we have been throwing up and doing #2 all night and morning .
