I came to see what all the hype was about, but left wondering what I missed. The Connecticut lobster roll, which cost over $50, didn’t deliver the buttery punch I expected. If I’m paying that kind of price, I want flavor that grabs me; not something forgettable.

The oysters were okay, but I’ve had better. Calamari was heavy on the batter and lacked the crispiness I like. Tacos? Meh—just so-so. And the lobster bisque came out lukewarm, which really dulled...
I am not even a fan of lobster rolls but maaann, their aint nothing like grabbing a roll from here and heading to the sweet lil park down the street and watching Lady Liberty whilst chowing down on an all-American lobster roll. It really is a great feeling. Worth it everytime. Staff is nice too.
Ate here for the first time last night with some old friends…. As Mainers visiting Red Hook, we have high standards for seafood, but this place was authentic, had super fresh food, including fab calamari, with very good prices…. Nice vibe too….Highly recommended.
