As a foodie who is constantly looking for unique high-end kosher experiences, I can confidently say that REN is a top 3 kosher restaurant in the world. From the moment you enter the establishment, you feel a sense of calm and comfort. The lighting, the plants, the music, the temperature of the room - an ambience carefully crafted with you in mind. The staff, beginning with Soso and George, are attentive, professional and courteous. They listen to your questions or comments, answer thoroughly and concisely and are not shy to make recommendations. I have been to REN multiple times with my partner and each time I am blown away. The menu, which evolves each time I visit, is filled with unique, nourishing, mind-blowing food. You can feel Chef Ronen's touch in everything. You can taste the decades of professional, perfectionist, preparation with high-end execution that has come to symbolize this fine establishment. If there ever will be a kosher restaurant that can contend for a Michelin Star - REN will be on that list. When I come to REN, I come to satisfy not a physical, but much more so an artistic, futuristic, classic fusion of fine dining. Come here if you want to be amazed.

Actual disgusting food, worst service out there, the waiters weren’t able to go an inch out of their way to please costumers, and as I’m writing this I’m suffering from food poisoning. Thanx a lot guys!!!

Excellent different sophisticated food. Maybe its French gastro inspired and curated had that kind of french pomposity and confidence. Service great everything we ate was very different and interesting. Bartender Jorge? Was spectacular with his drink creations. The only knock could be the atmosphere is very dining hall ish lots of couples and lots of maximized small tables with no dividing elements but still very good. Majority is borough park folks. Lacking in vibes but the food doesn't disappoint. Burger needs fries but was very interesting and delicious. Too much bread for me and it took away from the composition of the burger which was really excellent. It said it had a truffle aioli which is a no go for me usually but was fine and not noticeably truffley. Overall 5 stars. I think the fact that it was packed on a Wednesday night says it all. Lil slowish and also very expensive but we drank well and were stuffed. Duck was the best I've ever had not sure how they got such a big peice of duck on the plate like that but it was perfect. Was $700 meal for 2. But we ate like 3 normal people. I'm still thinking about the burger and the beef jerky was also top without the sweetness I normally like. One caveat is the valet parking closes at 10pm so we had to find a spot which wasn't easy in the snow and chaos that is Brooklyn right now. It's not your average expensive kosher steak place and they don't want it to be. Walking through world spa is also odd entrance but forgiveable. Better toothpicks upon leaving would be on par with the level of everything else. But I could've gotten a bad one. Thanks 👍 🔥

Ren is hands down one of the best kosher dining experiences in New York. The service is a full 10/10—from the moment we walked in, the manager and the entire staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making the experience perfect.

The duck was excellent—rich, flavorful, and cooked beautifully. The wine was great too.

Amazing food, incredible people, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend and definitely coming back.

From a chef’s-foodie's perspective, this restaurant demonstrates a rare level of discipline and respect for product. The sourcing is clearly top-tier, and it shows in both texture and flavor. Steaks are seasoned with restraint, allowing the natural character of the meat to lead, and cooked with impressive precision — proper crust development, even internal temperature, and excellent resting. Fat rendering is spot-on, resulting in richness without heaviness. Sides are thoughtfully composed to support, not distract from, the protein. Service is professional and informed, with a clear understanding of timing and flow. This establishment proves that kosher steakhouses can compete confidently at the highest level of fine dining. A benchmark experience.

REN was an incredible experience and honestly one of the best kosher meals we’ve had. The space is beautiful and sets the mood for a really special night without feeling stuffy or over-the-top.

The food was outstanding and so thoughtfully done. We started with the smoked daikon ravioli, which was unique and delicious, and the spicy ramen with homemade noodles was a total standout—comforting but still elevated. The Jerusalem artichoke was perfectly balanced, and the pistachio-crusted short ribs with potato foam were insanely good—tender, rich, and packed with flavor. The veal tartare with cured quail egg yolks was beautifully done, and the chicken Caesar salad was hands down the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had.

Dessert was a non-dairy cheesecake with a blueberry topping that didn’t feel heavy at all and was the perfect way to end the meal.

The cocktails were amazing—perfectly balanced and really well crafted. The bartender came over to help us choose drinks and even recommended a few off-menu ideas that were spot-on and made the night feel extra special.

Service was excellent throughout—super attentive without hovering. We had such an amazing night and every part of the experience felt worth it. Totally worth the splurge and can’t wait to go back.

REN is the absolute pinnacle of kosher fine dining. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that every detail—from the cuisine to the hospitality—was thoughtfully executed at the highest level.

The smoked kohlrabi was a true standout and one of the most innovative dishes I’ve had in a kosher restaurant—unexpected, creative, and unforgettable. The short rib was exceptional: perfectly cooked, rich, and deeply flavorful, complemented beautifully by the potato foam, which added a light and elegant contrast.

The service was incredible—warm, attentive, and professional without ever feeling intimidating or overly formal. It made the entire experience feel relaxed and special, which was perfect for a date night.

The cocktails were outstanding as well: expertly balanced, creative, and refreshing, without being overly sweet.

We had a fantastic date night at REN, and it’s a place I’d enthusiastically recommend to anyone looking for an elevated kosher dining experience.
