Love the shop, but watch out for the total at the register. My order was $27, but the person at the counter entered $38 into the card machine. I didn't notice until I got the notification on my phone later. Sad to see this happen at a local spot I've supported for a while. Always check the price on the terminal before you pay! Paid 38 for this cake and two roles

During visits close to closing time, two female employees have shown disrespectful and impatient behavior toward customers. It felt as though guests were being rushed and spoken to in an unpleasant manner. We completely understand that closing time can be busy and tiring, but we believe that every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and professionalism, regardless of the time. I have been coming here for the last 15 years and the service has been slowly dropping off, especially the last time I was here on Thursday October 9th. I came in for pumpkin pies (which are the best here in all of Brooklyn hands down), but unfortunately they didn’t have them yet as it was still early in the season. The girl working behind the counter was rude and passive aggressive the entire time. I asked her to place a mini cheesecake in a separate box and she proceeded to tell me later that I never told her that, to which I said no problem, maybe you didn’t hear me. When she put it into a separate box, I asked which box was which as the cheesecake was a gift. She took the box angrily and stormed off to cut the strings because she had no idea. Overall, made me feel uncomfortable the entire time. I previously never had any issues here so was taken by surprise. Please be careful with who you hire as the counter girls are the face of your business!

The bakery is located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. It is a family-owned business established in 1973. They prepare Italian baked goods including cakes, cookies, cannolis and bread. The bakery also sells gelato and other types of baked goods. I purchased a chocolate covered cannoli. It was fresh and well-prepared. The various items in the bakery are well-priced. Friendly and helpful staff.
