Overall it was a strange and disappointing experience. I was confused as soon as I walked in the door with how to order and what kind of food it even was. The girl at the register was veey nice but that was the only nice part of the experience. I ordered the Risbo platter with chicken and the chicken was mostly bone. The sides all had a similar taste with a strange putrid undertone. Was it vinegar? Finally I was ready to leave and it says to bus your own table but it was very unclear on where to bus it. Needless to say, I won’t return.

The food is OUTSTANDING. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a half chicken with my chicken and waffle order. So many chicken tender/waffle meals out here.
There is a beautiful outdoor garden seating area. Cocktails are not that great some can use simple syrup but honestly the food is astounding, service is great & the ambience is wonderful. Will definitely be back here.

Saw Risbo on TikTok as I was looking for a nice, quiet spot for a solo brunch. The stunning interior and roasted chicken both looked amazing and I was not disappointed. There is a bar to the side and fast-casual ordering as you walk in. I got the Oeuf Brouillé ($18.00) which came with: Creamy French-style scrambled eggs, crème fraîche, chives, salad, roasted potatoes, toast. I got a side of 1/4 Roasted Chicken ($10) and a French 75. Everything was gorgeous; I never had French scrambled eggs and the texture was so light/fluffy. Their roasted chicken was seasoned well, although I prefer my chicken to be cooked a hair longer. I sat in the outdoor patio out back, and it was so breathtaking. The only thing I struggled with was sitting comfortably because the tables were short

So when the server brought over another round of our orders, I asked her if my dish really only came with 3 shrimp. She said it did, and walked away, without considering that if someone else wasn’t waiting on those shrimp, she could have easily recovered the situation rather than throwing away a perfectly good meal. Or maybe she could have thought more creatively. I get that $20 might not cover the cost of 6 shrimp, but I’d gladly pay a bit more for a more substantial meal.

The Roasted Chicken Platter was everything I hoped for and more! The organic roasted chicken was tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The crispy roasted potatoes and subtly spiced cabbage salad brought a great balance to the dish, and that aioli sauce rich, creamy, and the kind of flavor that stays with you in the best way possible.
It’s clear that Chef Boris pours his heart into every dish, and his attention to detail shines through. The atmosphere was equally impressive, thanks to the thoughtful hospitality of Manager Juline and the friendly staff.
Risbo is a gem that I can’t wait to revisit. If you’re considering lunch plans, Risbo should be at the top of your list—you won’t regret it!

Literally in the heart of Brooklyn, this restaurant is a camouflaged beauty! Once you walk-in the atmosphere is instantly transformed to somewhere comfortable and calming. The aroma in the air will make you even hungrier. The food looks and tastes amazing. Definitely worth the price. The music they play is pretty chill too. You wont be disappointed.

I was looking for a place in Flatbush with a different vibe clean and inviting. I decided to have a meeting there, and the homemade ginger juice was incredible. I must have had five or six glasses it was that good! When we ordered, I was pleasantly surprised. I don’t usually eat lamb, but this lamb was exceptional. It was sliced thin, almost like cold cuts, and the seasoning was out of this world. The mashed potatoes were perfect smooth and flavorful and while the cabbage was just okay, the overall meal was absolutely delicious.
