I've been coming here for years. This is my go to spot for a quick sandwich whenever I'm in Brighton Beach. Their bagels are baked fresh everyday in the store. They have good sandwiches and bagels; however, at checkout, they often charge a different price than what’s listed. I once pointed it out and recalculated the actual total, only to be met with a nasty attitude. Be mindful of what you’re charged—they will shortchange you.
The staff here is friendly and is fair . It is a clean environment with a small table booth in the front . They have specials on bakery goods , buy 1 pastry get 1 free after 3 PM. They are slightly overpriced, but I believe that is because they just opened and wont be changing prices for a while , so it will all even out . This is the friendliest deli on brighton , so far . The only place, I think that also carries Jewish newspapers .
