An amazing bar -- I love that you can create your night from here. High energy if you want it to be, but also has a shuffleboard table in the back and a really amazing open area in the back with an ample amount of outdoor seating. The crowd is young to mid twenties with people chatting, drinking, smoking. Will definitely be returning. Oh and of course, most of the drinks come in a pretty nice chalice.

I was very impressed with this bar. My first impression was the friendly bouncer at the door greeting me with a smile. Next, the drinks were super competitively priced for NYC. Not only that but their atmosphere is amazing, love the antiques & old signs all over the place, great music choices as well. 10/10 Brooklyn experience. Outdoor seating was a bonus and there are two backrooms to chill in as well.

Ive enjoyed this bar for a while but unfortunately the 2 women bartenders they have now are extremely rude. I received the wrong drink and I kindly asked if she could change it for the correct one and she was instantly rude, defensive and refused to correct the mistake. She even had the bouncer kick me out of the bar for no reason. These 2 should not be bartending, they treated me horribly even after I tipped.

I walked into this bar expecting a relaxed evening. I ordered my first beer without any issues and then headed over to the jukebox. For $5, you’re supposed to get 15 song credits—so I paid, selected my tracks, and even ordered a second beer while I waited. But the jukebox malfunctioned and refused to play any of my choices.
When I approached the staff for an explanation, instead of fixing the problem or offering a refund, they became defensive and aggravated by my question. Rather than resolve the issue, they escalated the situation and escorted me out of the bar. All I ever wanted was what I paid for—a cold beer and a few songs—and instead I was made to feel like I was in the wrong.
This place fails both on basic service and customer respect. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a fair deal and friendly atmosphere.

My first time at Rocka Rolla was over ten years ago so my review is going to be a bit colored by that. But it is still mostly the same. It's a good bar. They play rock music, not metal. They have a shuffleboard and a (sometimes working) pinball machine.
It is a good place to start an evening and meet random people. Every time I visit New York I make sure I go to Williamsburg at least one night and drop into this bar.
