This place sure knows how to please their clients. Always with a super nice demeanor. The food is reasonably priced, always fresh and neat.

Been coming her for quite sometime before they actually moved, the days where we would stand in the cold for chicken and potatoes ha. Rain or snow whenever I was in town it was go to place for j*** chicken. Recently went and heard they moved. Since they move they got bigger and better, they are selling a variety for different things. But for now I'll stick to the j*** chicken. The chicken is always fresh and very flavorful. Although the prices have changed I'll still pay the price, quality over quantity!!

Their food is always on point, and never fails. I love their j*** chicken, breadfruit, chicken tenders and goat soup. Parking is limited but it's worth the hassle.

I live near by and Went there a hand full of times because of how Dangerously good the food is but I stoped because every time i went the servers were very rude and i did nothing to deserve this treatment. So i gave it a 2/5 star cause Kindness & a friendly environment towards customer is what i value most when getting my tasty food !

One of my Jamaican friends who is an exceptional cook suggested that if I wanted good j*** chicken that I should try this place out. I've driven by so many times and saw the smoke coming out of the barrel grill in front of the store. My son and I decided to stop by for the first time on Saturday so I can purchase j*** chicken for him which is his favorite Caribbean dish. Although the restaurant has a health grade of "B", I decided to give them a try because of my friend's suggestion. I'm guessing that the grade received was probably based on the interior and exterior appearance of the restaurant which could definitely use some new paint. In my opinion, when you are serving the community food, there should be certain standards that a business should adhere to. However, thank goodness that the food was really good. My son wanted an order of j*** chicken and peas and rice. My son shared some of his food with me and let me tell you the j*** chicken was so good. The moist peas and rice with a hint of coconut milk was delectable. I noticed that the secret to their rice staying moist is that it is kept in the pot. Most times, when you put rice in the steam plates over the course of the day, it tends to dry out. The orders come with salad and plantains if you want them. We thoroughly, although it was my son's food lol, enjoyed the meal. The first time, we didn't put j*** sauce on the chicken but the second time around we did and it was simply amazing. We decided to come back the following day but this time I purchased my own order. The young lady behind the counter was very nice and she recognized me from the previous day. I told her that we loved the food and decided to come back which is a first because we don't normally visit the same restaurant the following day. She blessed us with a nice amount of food which became leftover for today which we both are equally pleased. My son said to me, "I don't know why they have a B because their food is good." I will definitely come back in the very near future lol.

Excellent late night spot in the area for smokey Jamaican food. Didn't see much as far as vegetarian options at all, but there are multiple meat options for omnivores. - J*** pork comes with fresh bread - Oxtail meat falls off the bone and has a good amount of flavor by itself - Corn on the cob is juicy and crisp - Home made fruit juices have all natural ingredients, though might be tastier watered down Line goes out the door, but moves fairly quickly. There is a separate soup line that moves quicker. Cash only. No seating inside, only takeout.
