Nice spot in the heart of Fulton St. The person at the counter was unfriendly. Unfortunately the Chimi was not to my standards. First the bread soggy since it was saturated with sauce and very little cabbage smh. Listen hopefully you have better luck going here but is a No for me.

I liked coming here because of the super nice lady and the young lady, the lanyards and the natural juices. What a pity that today, the girl was very disagreeable, she pulled the machine when I was writing my email to receive my receipt in this way, she saw it and did it in a way that bothered her from working. I paid full price for an old chimi from an extra order they had there, with the empanadas heating up the sauce (which has to be fresh) who knows how many hours? What a disgusting sandwich!! I ate it because I was in a hurry and hungry after working hard for 8 hours outside in the sun. I regretted coming to spend my money here. Never again for me...they lost customers with today's guacala treatment and food.

This is the worst place to buy food, today, April 27, I sent to buy a tray of picadera (meat) and what they sent me was a tray full of fried plantains with 5 pieces of pork rinds and 3 pieces of cheese...they charged me 33 dollars for fried plantains...they are inconsiderate creeps who want to get rich without providing the service they promote...don't go there.

Delicious and authentic Dominican ?? food. From there appetizers, Chimi, empanada and Yaroa to Rice, beans and authentic Dominican seasoning. The flavors will have you coming back for more . I totally recommend Rompe Chimi and was impressed with there customer service.
