I thought the food was OK and have ordered the Rasta pasta with 10 jumbo shrimp BOGO several times. Today the food was terrible: they did not put any Rasta Pasta in my order, the rice was dry, and the worst part is they left the edges of the shrimp. They usually remove the edges. Way to lose a customer. Won't order again but good luck with your business.

Food is extremely over priced. A single porgy fish by itself with nothing is $16.00. And the salmon is dry. Such high prices for unsatisfied food. Will not be going back there.

Food is sitting to long on the hot bed, so the pasta is hardddd by the time you get it. It's not fresh!!! Customer service stinks!!!! For the price of their food you'll expect to get better food and service. I guess that's to much to ask.

This was my first time experiencing Royal Cuisine, I reside in Manhattan where authentic west Indian food is so hard to find. The person who was attending to me was Marcia. She was friendly, cordial and extremely professional. I got the medium size curry goat with rice and peas and steam cabbage. The goat was cooked to perfection with the right amount of spice. The rice was nice and fluffy not soggy or mushy and the steam veg was on point. Even though it was steamed, the cabbage still had a delectable crunch to it. If I'm ever in the area again I will be sure to stop by and try other dishes on the menu.

look i'm not the kind of person that is afraid of food being a little greasy, i don't demonize oil. but i got the rasta pasta and man this was swimming in a pool of oil, not sauce mind you, but just straight oil. curried goat was good just idk what happened here man it looks like the sauce split

Restaurantji Recommends
I walked into the store and wasnāt greeted. Also the cashier seems incompetent as if sheās making up prices or doesnāt know math. This has happened on more than one occasion. Iām not sure if they donāt have set prices or they are generally ripping the community off. Example: a jerk chicken meal is purchased with 4 THIS IS IT juices and the charge price was $25 however on a separate day, someone walks in to buy 2 OF THE SAME THIS IS IT juices and is told each juice is $5. Which is overpriced when everywhere else itās $3-$4 MAX. So how much was the jerk chicken meal? I will never buy here again nor recommend. For this to be a black business in a black neighborhood. I am disgusted at the greed.

Took a chance and ordered tonight around 1AM. The reviews were good, so I ordered the small jerk chicken. It was phenomenal! Seasoned great and they even sent the jerk and oxtail sauce as I requested. Thanks for being open so late with AMAZING food!

$20 for a small fried chicken, and Mac n cheese. It better taste good. Even if it does, I won't return with these prices. At least add a vegetable for that price!
The other night I was craving some authentic Jamaican food, and I found Royal Cuisine Yard on Uber Eats. I ordered around midnight, and despite the time, the food arrived fresh and the quality of the ingredients were good.First off, the jerk chicken was juicy and not too spicy! It was so well seasoned and flavorful, just the right amount of spice. Plus, it wasn't greasy at all, which was great. The rasta pasta with shrimp scampi was also really good. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. What I loved most about both dishes was that they felt light but satisfying. You could taste the natural herbs and seasonings in every bite!
