Coney island....what a vibe...
Must visit!
Ruby's bar and grill is a very old place...still running lavishly.
Food is 3/5. Drink options are good

Was always my go-to place for a drink. Unfortunately it became very expensive.

I expected to see Fonzie and his friend Ricky Cunningham appear at any moment, given the '50s/'60s atmosphere of the place, with his fat, purely American air of a smug "American dream" and that illusory prosperity of the Happy days. The feeling you get in this place is that of a plastic well-being as in the entire Coney Island with its fake-vintage seafront and its fake-nostalgic amusement park. You have the impression of being inside a sitcom set: everything is too artificial as in a scenography

My family and I have been going to this spot for a few years now and we really like it there. Food is 10/10 and the service is on point. They do keep the place clean as well. They have in door as well as outdoor dining and a bar. Highly recommended if you're on the boardwalk and looking for a bite to eat.

Beers are too expensive. Food is decent but not great. The music kept cutting out in a really annoying and jarring way. If you're looking for a place to sit at the bar on the boardwalk and grab a beer and a sausage, it's fine. But this is not the kind of place you go to as your actual destination

Saved by Ruby's team tonight. The only bar we saw to open it doors wide to let us sodden masses into your dry haven.
A true Noah's Ark in the storm.....thank you for your hospitality and coffee. Followed by beer and food x

The place is beautiful, characteristic and with lots of seats inside. Great hot dog and the fried shrimp were good too. To fully experience the slightly vintage atmosphere of Coney Island this is the ideal place

Don’t miss out on the chance to experience Ruby's before summer fades away!
The best way to remember the last days of summer is by grabbing a bite at the historic Ruby's on the Coney Island boardwalk. As a true New Yorker at heart, and by residence, I can’t help but share my favorite spot on the boardwalk. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick bite or indulging in a cone of soft ice cream, Ruby's never disappoint.
With a few fireworks nights still left this year, it’s the perfect time to visit this iconic place. The combination of delicious and reasonably priced food, a relaxed atmosphere, and the lively energy of Coney Island makes every visit special. If you need help at the registers, just ask Anna, Isobel, Rebeca, or the manager, Nagila—they’ll make sure you get the best service and advice on what to order. And if you just need a little assistance, you’re sure to be met with a genuine smile.
